Lounging at the Fix || Penn & Billie

Penn took off from his place, climbing into the taxi he’d called earlier, giving the driver an address for ‘The Fix Burger.’  Hearing good things about it, and to have it recommended by Billie too, he looked forward to trying it out.  Plus, also for the company, it having been a while since he’d been out and about, social with the residents of Silver Lake, and something he needed to change, definitely.  Billie seemed easygoing, and friendly with the short conversation they had, and was glad they made plans to meet up, knowing it would be a relaxing outing.

The actor settled for the drive there, hoping he would be in time, or there before Billie arrived.  If there was one thing he didn’t like, it was keeping people waiting.  Thankfully, the drive didn’t take as long as he thought.  He paid the fare, thanking the driver.  Exiting the taxi, he spotted the place, making his way to it, stepping inside.  Locating a table, he just went over to it, sitting down and waiting for Billie to arrive.

She'd finally given in and gave up the rental in exchange for a car of her own - seemed she'd be sticking around so she figured she may as well get comfortable. Part of which was getting out and meeting some of her neighbors. She'd enjoyed her chat with Penn - he seemed like a genuinely good guy, which to be honest, seemed like a rare find in L.A. And Nat had been raving about this burger place since she'd arrived, so she was looking forward to a good meal and equally good company.

It took her a bit to find somewhere to park and she had to walk a couple blocks, but she finally made it, only a few minutes past their agreed upon time. She lifted the sunglasses up when she stepped inside, resting them in the mass of blonde locks that were pulled loosely into a bun, spotting him right away and flashing a bright smile as she waved with her free hand.
