putting two and two together will lead you to the conclusion that MU takes place in canada
but there's more information we can add to support this claim.
the French things in MU... the dorm Hall names, the literal motto of the school is in French and translates to "knowledge is power"

but wouldn't there be more French aspects if the university was in france? the school's name would be Université Moonlight and there would be more implication of the location being France, like French last names

the idea was originally: typical anime slice of life school protag x 2000s/2010s American high school movies and those character tropes
but I had ideassss
idk what to name the characters rn BUT
twin sisters. the happy one we'll call Amy. the calm and reserved we'll call Erin. Amy is super social and super positive and always sees the best in people.
her naive-ness was taken advantage of by popular kids at school, but the greatest offender was a popular boy we'll call Michael. Michael used Amy for homework at first, but it spiraled into hatred. Michael bullied her, hurt her, sexually groped her (and js being weird)...
and in the end he beat up Amy to death when she tried telling other people (namely Erin and Michael's gf at the time, who we'll call Claire) about the groping
the way Michael treats Amy (minus the killing) is how people at my old school treated me - boys would harass me, one boy would say weird things, another boy touched my waist several times even after I told him to stop.
Erin is the first to find Amy dead and is livid. she learns through security camera footage (that Michael was supposed to wipe off the computer system but he messed up and didn't know that he messed up so he doesn't know its still up) that Michael killed Amy
the next day he finds out the clearing failed and got rid of the footage
erin checks later on because shes gonna gather proof but boom it isn't there. now she has no proof
she doesn't know what to do with her anger so she's just gonna ruin Michael's life, and she gets help from three people.
a nerdy boy that frequently got bullied by michael and his friends, who we'll call Orville
a delinquent who breaks rules out of pettiness and rebellious nature, we'll call her Sloane
one of michael's middle school exes who is the last to join Project Amy, we'll call her Daisy
Orville is a mix of the 'pervert nerd' stereotype but he has deep rooted childhood issues with his femininity. his parents ridicule him for his weakness and want him to 'man up', but he prefers girly things and have always been close with and related more to girls
this is kind of a projection of my irl experiences but flipped - while Orville is a man who's feminine i'm a biological woman who's masculine
also if my idea had a fandom Orville would def be headcanoned as a closeted trans mtf but its up for interpretation tbh
Orville had a crush on Amy. he loved her and had planned on confessing to her the day after she had actually died. the two were close as younger kids because they lived near each other, but in high school they drifted apart.
Orville wants to get his revenge by killing Michael outright but Erin insists to make the torture slow
i have yet to work on Sloane and Daisy but i'll give summaries of them.
when the school announced Amy's death, Erin was given the chance to speak up about what happened. Erin used this oppurtunity to become a literal fear mongering piece of shit and threaten the school by being like "whoever killed my sister I will ruin your life and kill you and make everyone in this damn school bow to me" bla bla bla
and the princpal still in shock she tries grabbing Erin to put her in like detention or smth, and Erin resists and Orville comes in and tries pulling Erin towards the stage exit
and then gasp the power goes out and Erin and Orville are snatched and they hide in a stage closet until the staff and everyone leave
who saved them? ya guessed it Sloane.
Sloane knew Amy and the two sat next to each other in science, a class Amy was passionate about but really struggled in. When no one else would help Amy, Sloane would tutor her. Sloane was one of Amy's only real friends besides Erin
Sloane causes trouble just for the fun of it, whether it be petty like stealing the classroom expo markers or pranking the principal, who is her rival.
Daisy is an ex of Michael who transfered to the high school sometime after Erin and Orville met Sloane. She is useful to Project Amy because she has lots of dirt on Michael that the team could use to their advantage.
Daisy however is painfully similar to Amy with the way she talks, is around people, etc. Orville hates this and has beef with Daisy because of this similarity
this is another projection but its me when anything relating to my late grandfather is mentioned. I forget he's dead sometimes and when I do i'm just reminded of the hurt I felt and I think about the happy memories I had with him and I just become a bitch
Project Amy is the team Erin makes and consists of (in the order of which they joined) Erin, orville, Sloane, and daisy. Project Amy's goal is to make Michael's life shit and just rule the school I guess
oh the urge to wear ouji lolita suits to your catholic high school's dances and maybe even prom in a few years instead of regular dresses and just absolutely MOG EVERYONE THERE

Uhhhh, i learned how to ride a horse because my barn put me on a horse, told me how to steer them n' stuff, and then threw me on a trail. That shit was steep too, so it's just little 10-11 year old beginner me, panicking and being forced to go down a trail on a tall ass horse without falling. didn't realize that learning how to ride a horse on a trail in a forest WASN'T normal until like, this month.
