Fake It Till You Donât Make It â Pearlet
The process of beating oneâs face sounds mildly aggressive at best but with Pearlâs careful precision of strokes and the gentle smudging of shadows, Violet found it to be quite relaxing and almost therapeutic. She opted to be the ideal canvas by keeping still and not making a single peep to distract the artist. There was a micro possibility that she could have gone out cold right there and then but the unveiling of the masterpiece kept her excited enough to hold onto her consciousness. Finally when the finishing touches had been undergone and the compact mirror was being passed to her, Violet opened her newly painted eyes to examine the creation. Smile lighting in a radiant competition to her glittered lids, she pursed her lips, ruffled her hair and struck a few poses as she fully immersed herself in this glitzy fantasy.
âBiiiiiitch, I love it,â Violet shrieked, her voice oozing with enthusiasm but the tone was admittedly drained from all the previous smoking. Picking up her phone that laid beside her, she angled the device and snapped a few glamour selfies, immediately uploading it to Instagram with a caption that of course featured a necessarily supreme amount of kissy face emojis. âUgh, just look at huh,â She sighed happily, though quickly deciding that her moment of insane vanity was over and it was time to float down from that cloud. âI donât wanna take it off just yet but I also donât wanna fall asleep with it on, so I at least gotta stay awake for the first movie.â Padding back into the bedroom, Violet flopped onto the bed and turned on the TV to scan through the channels. âWhich shouldnât be a problem if we actually found something good. Something good and not basic unlike Hunger Games or whatever shitty teeny bopper movie you put on last time-â
Once Violetâs vanity is sated and displayed to the world with an influx of filters and emojiâs, Pearl is already settled into bed, the remainder of makeup on his face smeared on a cleansing wipe, though streaky traces still remain giving his eyes a hollowed out appearance compared to Violetâs still made-up and immaculate face resting on the other pillow.
Her comments about shitty teeny boppers have him dramatically pouting â....Hunger Games isnât shitty, if it was Twilight you know Iâd agree, but donât insult the cinematic greatness of whatever the fuck this century isâ rolling into his stomach â....We really need to go out and get some DVDâs if weâre bunking together for the Premiereâs, these pay per view movies are shit.. And Iâm not watching some gross horror flick, and weâre not watching Granny Pornâ
