Hellloooo! My name is sunny. I use she/they and I am new to writing fanfiction! I am unconfident with making and sharing pieces, but I trust my confidence will bloom! I really like Fuuta Haruka Amane Muu and Yuno!
I will be switching between making headcanons and actual pieces of fanfiction! I would like to write fluff mostly, but I will have my requests open if anyone would like to request, feel free to do so!!! I will use ao3, I think I might put smut on my ao3 until I feel more comfortable using Tumblr……. I hope people enjoy my work and feel comfortable enough to discuss milgram with me! I love hearing people’s views on the characters! I assume the character I will write most about is Fuuta because I love him hehe… But I want to write lots for everyone! They all deserve love!!!!!
My first ever fanfic, will be posting on ao3 too! I’ve done some research on PTSD and flashbacks however Im slightly unconfident on how I have portrayed it here.. any advice would be appreciated! Fuuta is probably OOC I apologise if he is!! I’m ngl i wrote this when I should have been sleeping.
Fuuta wakes up from a flashback of being attacked by Kotoko. He seeks out comfort from you and luckily, you’re able to provide the comfort he needs.
Fuutas weary body jolts, sweat drenching his forehead as another flashback of Kotoko attacking him plays inside his head, looping repeatedly inside of his exhausted mind. His fingers shake as he grabs his thin blanket and curls under it, the weak state of his body frustrating him once again. His body feels warm, too warm to be under his blanket, however, the foreign feeling of vulnerability made him curl up childishly.
Fuutas tilts his head to the ceiling, staring at the dull, blank wall, trying to gather his thoughts, despite the mental exhaustion. His eye throbs painfully, inflicting a weak hiss from him. He hated having Shidou fuss and clean over his eye and the bandages, it made Fuuta feel embarrassed for needing such attention and pity from the older man. However, he would be lying if he wasn’t extremely grateful for Shidou for being able to support him after the hostile attack.
Fuuta blinks sleepily as he slowly sits up on his mattress. The thin blanket that he was curled under is completely disregarded, lying messily on his now empty bed as he quietly walks to his the cell door, wasting no time to visit your cell. He knew it was late, but he had no idea what time it was. A part of him felt guilty for needing your comfort over something he deemed pathetic yet scary. Fuuta remembered you telling him he was always welcome in your cell, he remembered the weak smile you gave him while telling him that you’ll always be here for him to confide in.
His steps were quiet as he wondered over to your cell, the walk making his body ache slightly. Standing outside your cell, he let out a small whisper, calling your name in an uncharacteristically soft tone, hoping that all the other prisoners were either asleep or were too preoccupied with their own thoughts to ignore him calling for you. Fuuta knew how much Es disproved of the prisoners socialising and being in each others cells at a certain time, but Fuuta didn’t care at all. Fuuta didn’t even feel guilty about the possibility of waking you up, or disturbing you at this time of night. Fuuta wanted—needed comfort, and you were the only person he wanted to be around.
The sound of your cell door opening snapped him out of his thoughts and he immediately stepped inside.
“Fuuta…? Are you okay?” Your soft murmur made Fuuta shiver slightly. Fuuta felt vulnerable, his legs slowly dragged him to stand in the middle of the room before stopping with another blank look on his face. His tilts his head to where you were sitting on the edge of your bed, giving him those eyes full of concern and pity. Fuuta felt his brain go all fuzzy.
“…I just.. I had another.. Yknow…” Fuuta mumbled weakly, hoping that you’d be able to decode his distant mumble. And somehow, you managed to understand what he was trying to communicate. Fuuta stood still in the middle of your room, staring at you with a helpless look on his face. He watched you pat your bed with that warm smile that made his heart do an unfamiliar squeeze.
Your bed creaked slightly as it was now carrying the weight of two people. The poor quality mattresses were uncomfortable in every cell, however, Fuuta felt much more comfortable here.
“Would you like to talk about it?” You murmur softly, immediately being met with the ginger shaking his head. Fuuta awkwardly shifted himself so he was lying under your covers. He decided to listen to the voice that was telling him to get comfortable. The small voice in his head telling him that it was okay to have somebody care for him and make him feel safe and comfortable.
“….I want to stay here. With you. I don’t want to be alone in that cell. I don’t want to have those… Thoughts and hear those sounds again.” Fuuta murmured in a usually quiet voice, your heartstrings tugging slightly as you watched the usually hot-headed boy show him vulnerability to you.
Wasting no time, you gently get underneath the covers, checking for any signs of discomfort on the boys face. As you get comfortable, letting the thin blanket drape across the both of you, the bed creaks once more, blanket ruffling against the mattress as Fuuta slowly leans closer towards you, smiling softly as his head makes contact with your chest.
Fuuta exhales shakily, his ear presses against your heartbeat as he focuses on the gentle thumps of your heart, treating as some sort of lullaby to help lull him off to a more peaceful state. Without startling the sleepy boy, one of your arms wrap around him, providing him with enough safety to successfully slowly relax his muscles.
Fuuta stares at you lazily, blinking slowly at you, almost like a cat, before rubbing his face slowly against you, being careful not to accidentally put any pressure on his bandaged eye. His quiet yawns fill your cell room, a cute sound that makes you smile. Your hand gently starts to rub soothing circles on his back, supporting the sleepy boy into drifting off to sleep and letting his exhausted body and mind get the rest it deserves.
A couple of minutes pass and your cell fills with a quiet snore, making you smile down at the boy in your arms. Watching him be at peace made you feel happy, knowing that the usually closed off boy came to you for closure and comfort made your heart flutter weakly. Your own eyes slowly grow heavy, slowly blinks turn into quiet, soft yawns as sleep slowly overtakes you too.
