i think its really interesting how the show has progressed in 6 seasons. In some ways it feels the same, but idk the overall feel is so much different. I feel like in the first two seasons, when we really rooted for tommy, the vibe of the show was so different. along the way i feel like we were alienated from him through how much him and all the other characters go through. idk i love the ensemble but i also feel like in season 5 and so far season 6 the characters have lost some depth? maybe because we’re all just focused on the end point

i think they dealt with polly in a very respectful way, her funeral was very beautiful and i think the silence was incredibly moving

god seeing tommy/cillian react to pulling back the shroud was so heart wrenching. i cant imagine what it must be like to lose a friend and then have to be filmed expressing real emotion
