We are back, lovelies!

dear followers,

"Uncle? Where did you get your hammer from?" The foal asked, sniffing curiously at the mighty weapon.
—- Curiosity, a trait he could relate to, had prompted both question and the warm puff of breath that fluttered over Mjölnir, a faint hum then audible from the hammer. ‘ It belonged to my father, and was bestowed upon me when I was deemed worthy to wield it. You could say it was a gift, although one that needed to be earned.’
"It looks heavy." Was Sleipnir's comment and he poked the hammer with his nose but with not enough strength to move it - even if it would so happen that he'd be worthy. "Do you likd it?" He asked then, big, brown eyes looking up at Thor as the foal left the weapon alone and instead came closer to the Thunder God, seeking some affection.
Can it be? *loki stares in wonder*
The stallion's ears perked up instantly upon hearing the voice and he raised his head from grazing. He would recognize it everywhere, that silky soft voice that sang to him at night, lulling him to sleep... But that was years ago... Before Allfather Odin took him away, told him mother did not want him any more... Now he was serving as king's steed, fastest horse in the realm. But of course, he did not forget."Mother..." He said, stepping closer slowly, ears flicking back and forth, unsure. Why... Why was Loki here after all the years? Did he want him back or...?
"Moth... Loki?" The young colt stuttered, looking at his parent he had long mourned. “Never thought I’d see you again!” [meme]
Loki smiled widely as he saw his son, quickly moving towards the colt. “I know, my son, I am so sorry,” he murmured, his voice soft.
“Where have you been!?” The shock in the colt’s voice turned into emotion and he shivered, coming forward, moving his head over Loki’s shoulder to hug him tightly.
“Where have you been, mum...” A first sob escaped him even though the happiness of seeing his parent again was beginning to swell in his chest.
"Mommy? Mommy why are you so sad?" He asked, coming in shyly, neck outstretched and ears down in insecurity. "Mommy?"
The uncertainty in his child’s body language practically breaks Loki’s heart, and sends a spike of cold fear to his extremities. Reason states that Sleipnir’s wariness and unwillingness to potentially hurt his parent is born of gentleness and compassion; reason, however, has difficulty outmatching Loki’s doubt and the sheer horror at the thought that he might inspire in his children the same reverent fear that his own father had inspired in him.
“I’m not…sad.. Just deep in thought,” he says quietly, and with a tight smile which had aimed to reassure and narrowly missed the mark.
“Did you need something, my little colt?”
“Are you sure?” Sleipnir asked, big brown eyes looking up at Loki as he came closer, a bit reassured by his parent’s smile, and laid his head gently in Loki’s lap, craving some affection. “You look sad, mommy. Would you like one of my apples?” He offered, nuzzling Loki’s arm lightly with his nose and hoping he could make his parent feel better.
"Mommy? Can we go play outside please?" The foal asked, nuzzling Loki's thigh to get his attention away from the book.
Loki sighs and sets down his book. Had it been anyone else he would have simply shooed them away. But seeing his son’s hopeful eyes made the trickster smile. “Very well, Sleipnir, for you.”
“Yes!” Sleipnir whinned, bucking happily and prancing about as he waited for Loki to stand up.
“Can we go to the fields? Can we please, please?”
Loki cannot help but chuckle, standing and reaching out a hand to calm the foal down. “The fields? Are you not still too young to go out in the open fields?”
“I’m big! Look!” He assurred, rearing and kicking his front legs up as high as he could - which almost ended in him falling backwards. Luckily the foal managed to catch his balance in the last moment and so he continued to prance around Loki excitedly.
“Let’s go, let’s go!”
“Very well,” he sighs in defeat. A pale hand reaches out to pat the top if Sleipnir’s mane. “Just be sure to stay close to me alright?”
“Yes mommy!” He assured and then went cantering forwards, quite a length in front of Loki, before turning back again and then repeating the whole process. He was simply beaming with energy!
"Nanny? Can I come in?" The little foal asked, knocking one of his hooves on his grandma's bedroom door.
Frigga put the book down she was reading as she smiled up at him. “Of course dear!” She smiled patting the spot in the bed beside her.
He pranced right in happily and seeing invitation he promptly jumped up onto the bed, his legs tangling in the process and he rolled on the mattress uncontrollably before ending up somewhere in the centre, trying to gether all those legs together and crawl closer to his grandma.
Frigga helped him get situated before pulling the blankets over him. “Better?” She asked
“Mhmm.” He nodded a little and moved to cuddle to her. “Did you have your breakfast already?” He asked then, nuzzling her arm. “I had a whole stack of apples!”
She laughed before shaking her head negatively. “No I haven’t. However apples does sound yummy.” She smiled
“Oh... But I ate them all...” He said, looking up at her worriedly. “I’m sorry! I didn’t know you would want some too!”

I just want to say that you are the most adorable foal I have ever seen.
“Thank you!” He whinned happily, prancing about.
