I love that Sherlock and Liam are both disasters in their own right. Sherlock is a bipolar, compulsive, self-proclaimed detective who solves crimes for fun, and Liam doesn’t know the first thing about taking care of himself. I mean, the man falls asleep at random intervals, eats like maybe one biscuit a day, and is willing to sell his soul to fulfill Robespierre’s revolutionary ideals. Like wtf. I like how they both saw each other and went “yes, I want that one”— and I like even more that they then had to suffer the consequences and learn how to respectively take care of their chosen disaster. They both have to learn how to grow up for each other. I think that’s beautiful.

i love it when powerful, intelligent characters fall in love with each other, especially amidst a conflict, because those types of characters are often so seemingly invulnerable and untouchable

yet have two of them fall in love and suddenly neither are quite so invincible anymore. they’re each other’s achilles heel. their weakness. 

and they know this. maybe their love will be their downfall. maybe it will all end in pain. the danger is there. 

but it doesn’t matter, because they can’t go back, and they don’t want to go back anyways.

Someday I really want someone to make a series about a team of magical girls, expect they’re all adults now and thought their days of saving the world with the power of friendship and glitter was behind them. But now some new evil has emerged, and they’re all suddenly finding their powers coming back after being dormant for years, and after a couple days of desperately hoping a new team of fifteen year olds would appear to take care of this, they eventually realize that it’s all up to them.

So that means digging through old boxes of keepsakes to figure out where they stuck their Rainbow Twinkle Wand after they finished saving the world the first time around, and hoping the outfit still fits (it’s a magical transformation, so yes, it adapts to their adult bodies and fits perfectly, even though it’s a lot more frills and sparkles than they’ve worn in a very long time.) Also gotta get used to yelling their attack names, because the magic doesn’t work otherwise. One lady shouts ‘Strawberry Lipbalm Ray!’ and blasts a monster into oblivion, and then stares off into the middle distance because she’s 30 years old and has a mortgage.

By the way legislators aren’t making laws specifically targeting the LGBTQ community because of pansexuals or trans people without dysphoria or aces and aros. They’re doing it because they hate queer people, and want to make us existing openly illegal.

No amount of “but but but the new labels are making us look bad and people won’t take us seriously” will ever change the fact that you are putting yourself on the side of people that want us dead. So stand by your community, or put a damn sock in it.

This is your community. There is no circumstance that you should say “well, the oppressor is right on this one” but that’s what SO many of you are doing!

When politicians mock parts of our community that they know you won’t bother to defend, they’re using it as a foot in the door. They are using it as a way to make their next action seem less extreme, and they will continue until they have achieved what’s happening in Texas and Idaho. And you are allowing them to.

Other queer people are not your enemy. And once again if you still can’t see that, you’re on the side of the oppressors.

The next person to tag a post about the current people in power directly and explicitly attacking queer lives as “discourse” is getting smacked upside the head.

A trans boy in texas was brought to a hospital last week by his family after he tried to kill himself. The hospital called the authorities on his family because the governor decided being supportive parents needs to be investigated as child abuse.

Texas is now trying to ban drag for being “a perverted danger to children”. I myself had fucking proud boys and neo-nazis gathering across the street from where I lived to shout about how queer people should be put up against a wall and shot, before assaulting a trans person walking by as the police protected the nazi instead of the student.

Fuck your “internet discourse”. If this is some kind of argument or drama to you, you’re exactly who the bigots are preaching to.

what the FUCK was Tchaikovsky thinking when he wrote the pas de deux for the sugar plum fairy????dude wrote that first buildup and then he fucking edges you with some fakeout crescendo that sounds absolutely amazing. then boom, you think he's going in for his big finish, he's got that second moment where all the instruments are coming together and it sounds otherworldly but he's like WAIT hoes I ain't even finished yet. then BOOM he hits you with the most magical, transcendent, beautiful fucking note change after that third buildup and MY GOD!!!! it's just too good. Tchaikovsky, that absolutely madman. I know the Russians were tripping the fuck out in the ballet when he dropped this. just,,MUAH perfection!!!
