Ok so apparently the slimesworld blog has been tagged as mature content- plus its been acting funny recently anyway so it just going to create a new blog for it and reblog all the old posts to save time

what happens if I give slimes a bottle of water? would they just dissolve in water? or would they just get wet and extra jiggly?

It is recommended not to give slimes high amounts of water as it can have negative effects on their small bodies such as:

Their bodies expanding (causing discomfort and even pain in more severe cases)

Nausea

More jiggly

Upset tummies for an unceratin amount of time (depends on how much water is given)

In the event that your slime is having these effect due to high amounts of water or other liquids, please contact your vet or local slimeologist

Hello!!, I have some questions about slimes. You are not required to answer all the questions. Well, here are the questions.

1- Are the Slimes whit limbs or can they make their own limbs whith their jelly bodies

2-Can Slimes feel pain or sensitivity in some parts of their bodie? Like tickling or cold?

3-How many years do Slimes live?

4-Is it difficult to take care one or more Slimes?

Well those would be the questions I like Slimes a lot they are very cute greeting's to all of then take care :D❤❤❤

All very good questions! :D I'll do my best to answer them!

1 - all slimes have the same shape unless there are certain factors at play(birth defects, genes, etc), and the only limbs they really have are little nubby hands like you've seen in some of the art! :]

2 - slimes are very sensitive creatures! While hurting them is hard to do, it isn't impossible. Like humans, their sensitivity can vary with each slime, so some are more sensitive then others, but for the most part their very resistant to pain. And yes, they can be ticklish and feel things like temperature!

3 - slimes usually live up to 25-40 years in the wild and as long as 50-60 years in captivity with the right conditions!

(I would sob if these cuties lived any less)

4 - not really, no! Slimes are simple creatures and taking care of them isn't very hard. With the right conditions, you can take care of many slimes at once!
