Luz whistled and try to look innocent as she made her way to the Owl House. This was just like any other day. She was just going to her favorite place on the Boiling Isles. Going to see her good friend/mentor Eda. Of course, not everything was normal. The human witch had received a text from her mom that Eda was up to something. Some big prank or something like that. Now, normally she wouldn't be too concerned about that, buuuut she had heard the Owl Lady cackling evily a couple of times over the past week so...yeah, something was up. Luz was supposed to come in and act like a pal, and then work with her mom to sabotage the prank. That was the plan. But as she opened up the door, she realized that wasn't going to work "Hey Eda, I'm here to-woah mama..." "O-oh! Mija you're already FFFRT here! G-good me and Eda need some help!" Camilla blushed as she saw her daughter. She had been caught in the act. The mother had come here to stop whatever prank Eda was working on but then...she just had to go and eat one of those damn cookies. Now Camilla was a fair bit fatter, her jean button having long since popped and a doughy belly surging out of it. Luz's mom always had a bit of junk in the trunk too, but those mom jeans were being put through the ringer in that respect too. She tried to be good and give her daughter a sign that everything was under control but....that minty smell from the cookies took hold of her and she shoved another couple into her mouth. Luz stumbled in "Uh...wh-whats happening here?"
*eda heard Luz walk into the owl house, or what was now basically the head of operations for her soon to be cookie empire, as it turns out eda had added a very addictive potion into the batter, witch caused Camila to go from 180 pounds, to around 300 in a matter of two hours*
âOhhh hey kiddo, first things first sorry about your mom, she wasnât supposed to eat them but I forgot to tell her, ya see Iâm working on something of a harmless prank, I got kicked out of witch scouts for eating cookies, and now I was going to ship out tons of boxes to those who wronged me years ago. However the addictive potion i added, turned out to be extremely powerful, hence why Camila has unfortunately become my taste tester, you Luz are going to take her place and help me get these to everyone in the isles, especially those on this vendetta listâ
*eda says smacking Camilas dark brown gut cackling as she handed Luz the list of those who wronged Eda years ago*
Luz just stared at her mom. Seemed Eda really was working on a pretty vile prank this time around. So far it didn't seem to be so...apocalyptic as it could be, but Luz could see the potential for it. She was broken out of her trance when Eda smacked that globular belly, forcing another trumpeting FRRMPT to come out of her mothers behind "Uh...yeah sure thing Eda. I guess I'm here to help" She looked at the slip and frowned somewhat.. "I don't...okay, your sister was involved. That makes sense....you were in the witch scouts with Odalia?...Hey, wait a moment. There are some of my classmates names on here. The heck do they got anything to do with your 'revenge'?"
The mother blushed as her daughter pointed out some of the odd details here. She should be agreeing with her and telling Eda how convulutred this had a ll gotten...but then Eda may stop making the cookies! The idea of never having one again made her want to cry. "Eh, try not to worry too much about it Mija. Eda just...wants to do a little prank. Its not even a OOURRAAP harmful one!" She gave a tentative smile and patted Luz on the shoulder, her big brown belly jiggling the whole while.
*eda winked at Camila and brought Luz over to the whole baking scene she had set up, even a giant rack of potion bottles, one labeled addictive, and others labeled with various effects on it*
âOhh thatâs because I just think itâll be funny, after seeing how Camila turned out I undated the list. Look I have the antidote here just incase things get too out of hand, and Lilith was in on my whole witch scouts sneaking, but she did kinda rat me out at the end once I had already been caught, probably to save her ass, if only I knew the lengths sheâd go to get out from under my shadow back thenâ
*Eda says as she tries not to think about the incident too much, as she sets Luz up at a baking station*
âIf things get really intense Iâll be sure to call amity for backup, Iâm sure she wouldnât mind her mom being on the listâ
"Seriously Mija, it will all be fine. You can go out and find all your little friend and Eda's BRAAAP ....old enemies. And I'll help keep Eda up to date on what the best tastes are for her cookies~" She practically salivated as she leaned closer to Eda, hoping to get some of the fresh batch. Luz frowned a bit...whatever the heck was in there probably was waaaay too strong. She sighed and did something rather impulsive. She jumped up and grabbed a random bottle from up top, uncorking it and pouring some of the liquid inside. She didn't know what it was, but she hoped it would overwhelm the additive.
"Heh, y-yup! Okay! Righty-O! I'll get these cookies to where they need to be!" She smiled as she looked at the two older women. Hopefully they didn't notice anything was off. After a little bit, the new batch of coodies were done. She loaded up a cart filled with the boxed cookies, doing her best to ignore the pained look Camilla had as she saw so many good treats about to be taken out. "I'll uh! Let you know when I'm done!" She called out before rushing out the door.
