If you wrote one and I missed it, or if you didn’t want yours posted here let me know and I’ll add/delete it!!
FAQ
What are the remaining topics?
The remaining topics from the original KRT, as well as some new topics added, are as follows: :
Adapting Problematic Practices: How do we adapt problematic practices and myths from antiquity when they rub up against our morals and values? What about how that coincides with controversial topics within the larger Kemetic community, such as godspousing, eclectic Kemeticism, and the priesthood?
Living Kemeticism: What does living your faith mean to you? How can others bring their religion into their day to day life or live their religion?
Kingship and practice: One of the first thing that many new Kemetics hear about and learn about is the concept of kingship within the community. For this round of KRT, we discuss whether kingship plays a role in your practice or not.Does the concept of Kingship/Pharaoh impact your practice, and if so, how?
Differences in practices: How do you deal with them? How do we overlook our differences in practice and UPG? What do we do if our experiences don’t line up with others?
Negotiating Holidays: How do we negotiate Western secular and/or popular religious holidays? Do we ignore them? Do we co-opt them? Do we have celebrations with our non-Kemetic friends/family and then hold our own celebrations, if we have any Kemetic festivals around that particular time?
Kemetic Calendars and Holidays: One of the first questions anyone will ask about a new religion is- what are your holidays? For this round we discuss the trials of setting up a Kemetic calendar. What about holidays? Do we need them? How do I figure out when holidays occur? How do I celebrate holidays? Can I make up my own holidays?
Underground Kemeticism: How public are you about your beliefs and practices? How has it (or not) impacted your work life, your familial and friendly ties? What advice would you give to uncertain Kemetics about how to approach either telling or not telling others about their beliefs?
Epithets: What use do epithets have in modern kemeticism? How do you use epithets in your Kemetic practice? Why?
Feminist Kemeticism: How does being a feminist affect a kemetic? What is your position on feminism in kemeticism? Why?
Queering Kemeticism: How does being queer or LGBT affect a kemetic? What is your position on “queering” kemeticism? Why?
Leftist Kemeticism: How does being on the political Left affect a kemetic? What is your position on leftism in kemeticism? Why?
Kemeticism in Diaspora: How do we practice our religion without a unified homeland? What does it mean to be a solitary practitioner? In what ways has the area you live in affected how you adapt your faith? Why?
Offering Basics: Offerings are a staple in any Kemetic practice. For this round we discuss some offering basics. Offerings 101: What do I offer the gods? How do I determine what to offer? Can I offer without a patron? Do I need to revert my offerings? How do I do that? What if I can’t?
Living in a Religious World: What is Kemeticism's place in the world of religions? How should Kemeticism deal with other religions, pagan or not? What about atheists?
Terminology and Language: how necessary is it? Is there a right or wrong way to use terminology and language in your practice?

Offering Basics: Offerings are a staple in any Kemetic practice. For this round we discuss some offering basics.
Differences in Practice: Everyone has a different way of doing things. This round we discuss how we handle our differences.
Daily Ritual Basics: One of the first questions that every new Kemetic asks is “how do you develop a daily practice?” This round, we discuss some of the basics of setting up your own daily practice.
The Ethics of Curses and Execrations: Many religious traditions have a history of performing curses and the like, and Kemeticism is no exception. For this round, we discuss if there are any ethics attached to these practices and the nuances of performing such acts.
Bribing and Threatening Gods: There are times when every practitioner is at the end of their rope and may consider bribing or threatening their deities. For this round, we discuss whether it is permissible to do either in Kemeticism.
Mythology and You: There is a lot of discussion regarding mythology and ancient Egypt. For this round, we discuss what role that mythology may play in a Kemetic’s practice.
Multiple Paths Sometimes you will start on the path of Kemeticism, only to find that other paths call your name or interest you. This week, we discuss how to handle situations like this, and whether it is okay to mix or practice multiple paths at once.
How did you get started? Every Kemetic has to start somewhere. For this topic, we’re discussing how each of us got started in Kemeticism, and sharing any tips or stories that we might find helpful.
UPG and You: The Basics UPG, or Unverified Personal Gnosis, is a large part of many modern Kemetic practices. For this round, we discuss the nuances of UPG. Are there rules regarding these terms? How important is UPG in your practice, and how important should others’ UPG be in my practice?
The Egyptian Gods and You: Figuring out what role the gods play in your religious practice can be tricky! This round, we discuss the following topics related to gods:
How do you survive fallow time?: Everyone has dry spells in their religious practices. How do you handle the fallow times in your religious practice?
Ritual purity: what does that mean for my practice? Before doing a Kemetic ritual, it’s common to do something special to prepare yourself. What do modern Kemetics to do prepare themselves for ritual?
What are the rules?
We’re running this revival democratically. If you want to vote on which topics we do and when, let me know and I can add you to our discord where we discuss and vote on stuff :>
If you want to add your take on one of these topics (or one of the KRT topics we haven’t gone over as a group yet!) just let me know and I’ll add it for you.
I will add ANY post anyone asks me to to this post so long as it is both a) about the topics listed on the KRT site/listed on this post and b) not bigoted or drama-mongering by my metrics. If you think I’m censoring you for not adding everything automatically, make your own post.
You do not have to be in our discord, or on tumblr, or even a kemetic to add to this. You do not have to be “as good a writer” or “as knowledgeable” as the rest of us (by anyone’s metric) to participate! All we want is MORE participants!! :D
The federal government will spend $700 million on building or refurbishing coal power infrastructure in a boost to coal, Trump said.
“It is hard to overstate the magnitude of this,” Energy Secretary Chris Wright said. “If you look at our efforts across the whole government, so far 45 coal plants are open today that would not be open.”
dead miners today! dead miners tomorrow! dead miners forever!
Traditional fascism embraced the ideal of fossil modernity because of the direct association with the values of strength, speed, and power carried by fossil fuelled objects such as industrial machines and motor vehicles. The historian of fascism Robert Paxton mentions Trump holding a campaign speech in an airplane hangar in 2016, after getting out from a plane that had just landed and taxied up there, which “is exactly what they did in 1932 for Hitler’s first election victory”. This example displays how the love of current far-right leaders for fossil modernity leads to a stunning resemblance with fascist symbolism (Chotiner, 2016). In Brazil, Bolsonaro delivered an analogue picture in May 2020 as he requisitioned a helicopter to fly six circles above the presidential square before landing in front of a crowd of his supporters who had rallied to demonstrate for a military coup. Fossil fuelled objects stood and continue to stand as the symbol of a virile, powerful and aggressive performance of modernity, and for the material fulfilment of authoritarian desires (Daggett, 2018; LeMenager, 2014).
Yet, while at the time of early fascist parties, the climatic toxicity of CO2 emissions was virtually unknown, far-right campaigns and governments today explicitly mock the global concern for climate change. Carbofascism, in this sense, could be different from historical fascism in so far as it merges its fascination for fossil modernity with a political discourse that promotes human domination over nature through the preservation and amplification of the fossil energy model as an endangered ideal of modern society. While fascism looked at fossil fuelled objects as the future of humanity, carbofascism would tend to consider them as the remnants of a golden age which need to be preserved in spite of their impact on the planet´s (and human) health. "Accusations of rape ruin men's lives and careers."
You only have to look at how many footballers who have rape accusations against them that happily represent their countries in huge tournaments like the World Cup without anyone really giving a shit to see what bollocks that is.
Women are rarely taken seriously, rarely believed, rarely stood up for, especially when their abusers are rich and famous.
2026 FIFA World Cup players who’ve been accused of rape and/or physical abuse:
Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal), Achraf Hakimi (Morocco), Thomas Partey (Ghana), Gonzalo Montiel (Argentina), Thiago Almada (Argentina), Junya Ito (Japan), Kaishu Sano (Japan), Ryan Mendes (Cabo Verde).
At least one of these men, Thomas Partey, is currently actively awaiting criminal trial on seven charges of rape and sexual assault but was still able to play at one of the largest sporting events in the world.
So, this isn’t the first post ever made like this, but I’m trying to do something a little different than just posting a bunch of links. I’m only gonna include resources that are international, common, displayed either as a map or as a geographically-sorted list, and easy to participate in, to make this masterpost as accessible as I possibly can. If you’re reading this post you’re probably an English-speaker with an internet connection, and so with that in mind my goal here is that any given link you click will have a decent chance of having something near you, and there will almost certainly be at least one link on this list with something you can plug into

Can’t Find Anything?
None of these lists are comprehensive, and these aren’t the only resources available either. Try using a search engine or looking on social media with keywords like “[your location] mutual aid”
Maybe you could start something yourself! Here are some resources: How to Form an Affinity Group, How to Share from Shareable, Small Town Organizing for Anarchists, resources for mutual aid groups from Mutual Aid Disaster Relief, seven steps to starting a Food Not Bombs group
If you don’t have even a single accomplice to start an affinity group with, there are still actions you can take on your own! Check out my #practical tag for ideas
"All drugs are drugs" = a surprisingly radical position that will upset people right across the political spectrum
This means:
If you draw a hard line between "drug" and "medicine" based on current legality where you live (or any other criteria) you've gone wrong somewhere,
If you think legality and/or prescription status tells you all you need about a substance's capacity to do massive harm to someone's body, mind or well-being you've gone wrong somewhere,
If you think legality and/or prescription status tells you all you need about a substance's capacity to contribute meaningfully to someone's healing, function or happiness you've gone wrong somewhere,
If you think certain substances should be excluded from informed consent (either withheld or forcibly administered) you've gone wrong somewhere.
Sorry to make this kind of post again I know it's barely the start of the month, but I've had some unexpected difficulties that ate up at my paycheck and looking at the rest of the month, I'm in the stiuation of having to choose between groceries and rent unless I can scrounge up around $300 USD to complete my rent. I'm putting all my stuff on itch.io on sale for a bit 3:
A bundle by imsobadatnicknames, $9.00 for 7 games
Don't feel obligated to help of course, I'll start looking if there's anyone I can borrow from too.
By the way it's like. Really fucked how society's thoughts on epilepsy is just "get over it." Seizures can cause permanent brain damage. Seizures can kill people. Seizures hurt like hell. Allow me to reiterate that seizures can kill people. And you're just gonna casually put flashing lights, a common trigger for seizures in your advertisement, in your animation meme, in your edit, on your billboards, without even thinking about putting a simple disclaimer? That's unbelievable. Your little anime edit could deadass cost a life and you're not gonna put a warning because it's "inconvenient" or "people like that shouldn't be on the internet" (ableist) (the problem exists outside the internet also). Or you'll give insufficient ones like putting it in the captions or only giving like one second before the flashing lights appear, meaning that the trigger's already in motion before anyone who needs the warning can read it and save themselves from literal physical danger.
We need to start commenting under other people's posts about how to properly warn for flashing lights and eyestrain. We need to be emailing and calling companies about their possibly triggering advertisements that could induce seizures. We need to stop tolerating ableism and start speaking up for the more vulnerable.
Also, stop putting epilepsy warnings. That's like saying "warning: schizophrenia" on a post including unreality or "warning: dyslexia" on a post with a typing quirk. First off, the disability mentioned isn't the only group of people that this could trigger. Second, it doesn't truly get the message across and instead makes it worse for those with the disability-- scrolling through the epilepsy tag on Tumblr should get you to view the content of other epileptic people, but no, you just get a bunch of flashing lights and eyestrain, even though you could instead tag for, oh I dunno, flashing lights and eyestrain.
Anyways this Disability Pride, and for every month that comes after, think about epileptic people and others who are triggered by flashing lights/eyestrain. Happy pride to those who experience seizures too frequently due to the unaccommodating and ableist societies we live in!
hey if anyone is interested in helping my close friend, a homeless disabled trans woman, get to the city I'm in for a chance at immediate shelter until we can move in together, we really need some gas money because it's a long ass drive and i'm living paycheck to paycheck/dealing with medical debt as is
so this didn't end up working out but I am still severely broke and $40 overdrafted, can I get some help getting out of the red and some gas/food money?

WTF FUCK FUCK FUCK There is absolutely no mercy. My sister cries all day long, her body is covered in sores, and she's become unable to move. When I asked the doctor for help, he told me the hospital pharmacy didn't have any free medication. My sister is still crying from the intense pain I urgently need to buy four boxes of smallpox medication for her. I trust you won't let her down.
I wish I could stop asking for help, but after my brother died of starvation, I found my life miserable and I'm living through the worst period of my life. I have no one but you, my friends, to save my sister.
Generative AI and the artist discussion is such a distraction from AI’s military and police applications or its role in automating hiring discrimination.
The Nazis didn’t attack artists for being artists. They primarily targeted gay and Jewish artists for “degenerating” the culture through their avant garde ideas.
They did not attack artists for the sake of them producing art. The Nazis literally produced their own art and films. They were not against art itself but Jewish art. They were very clear about that.
Three federal book ban bills are currently alive in the United States Congress:
HR 7661
Status: Passed out of committee; to be introduced in the House
Would amend the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) to prohibit federal funds from being used for any material deemed “sexually oriented.” Buried within that definition is language that includes material that “involves gender dysphoria or transgenderism.” While framed as protecting children, the bill opens the door to banning books that include LGBTQ+ characters, defining trans existence as inherently inappropriate, and narrowing literature toward a prescribed, limited canon.
In short: Would treat any LGBTQ+ identity as sexual content.
HR 2616
Status: Passed the House; referred to a Senate committee
Would withhold ESEA funding from schools that “teach or advance concepts related to gender ideology,” using definitions from Executive Order 14168. It frames itself as protecting children. In practice, it represents another attempt to eliminate not only trans and nonbinary books, but also any acknowledgment of gender non‑conforming people in public education.
In short: Would deny the existence of trans and nonbinary people.
HR 8705
Status: Passed out of committee; to be introduced in the House
Rather than naming specific books or categories of literature, it blocks federal funding for American History and Civics Education from being used to promote what it calls “discriminatory equity ideology” or “gender ideology,” definitions drawn from a January 29, 2025 executive order. Likely impacts would include fewer books on racism and civil rights, less discussion of sexism and inequality, narrower civics curricula, and publishers pulling back on diverse perspectives.
In short: A funding lever that shapes whose version of history gets taught.
HR 7661 and HR 8705 are still in the House, so please call your representative and tell them to oppose both bills. Click here to find the phone number of your representative’s office.
HR 2616 passed the House, and has been introduced to a Senate committee. Please call your senators and tell them to oppose the bill. Click here to find the phone numbers for your senators’ offices.
