My friend told me to share more info about this ichi and so here it is!

This is ichi who underwent a procedure to turn into a highmate, a gene engineered perfect companion and a concubine. They have psychic abilities that allow them to psychically bond with a chosen partner and also they're mentally incapable of violence which makes them perfect playthings for the wealthy.

After the procedures, ichi's personality changes to the point he's barely ichi (basically becomes 18!ichi) and he agonizes because of how engineered instincts go against his wishes.
