Bones  - 12x12 - The End in the End

This moment right here, it wasn’t just about Booth and Brennan, this was about David and Emily too. While David was saying that wonderful, beautiful speech, Emily was having to say goodbye to all the things that made B&B, B&B. 

David had tears in his eyes, but was able to keep it together more, but Emily just couldn’t hold it back at all. I can only imagine the crying that went on between takes with both of them.

In the Build series interview, David talked about this scene, saying how proud he was of it and that it was an exercise in saying goodbye, so… yeah.

I haven’t had a chance to see that interview yet, but that certainly fits, because I don’t believe I’ve ever seen Emily that emotional during a scene before. That was on another level, and it broke my heart so much.
