I just knew you’d like that idea. Okay, so I know of a couple of adoption agencies. There’s this massive one in London; they adopt a lot of children every day. And this one bloke told me about this one in Leeds that doesn’t have a lot of success so I think we should check that one out first. Once we’re, uh, ready and all that of course.

Oh my, you've really thought this out! Yes, it sounds as though the Leeds orphanage probably needs our help more, so let's see those little kids first! Then if we don't fall in love with one, then we can look into the London one. [smiles and holds his hand] Well I'm ready whenever you are. Those babies do need homes soon, too. So.... whenever.

Well, this isn’t really for Valentine’s day, but I’ve been thinking… In the future, soon hopefully, if we get together in a committed sort of way, that we could adopt a baby. Y’know, since a lot of kids were orphaned in the war.

Any day that I get to see you is my favorite.

I made dinner plans for us, but the restaurant canceled on me. I didn’t even know restaurants could do that. But anyways, they said there were too many couple celebrating the fact that their relationships survived the war. It was a five hour wait.

Well jeez Quill, you've got me all blushy on Valentine's Day. What a man!

A five hour wait? Oh my goodness, no, that would totally ruin the fun of the day! No one wants to spend five hours waiting on this bestest holiday ever! We can find something else to do, hmm... any thoughts? I'm sorry I'm so bad at decisions, it's just kinda like you said, anything I do with you is perfect.

April watched as Marina talked to Ming, and she couldnt help but feel a pang of sadness. She couldnt help it- she was trying to understand what it could be like for the boy, to have someone new move into the house- such a change in the space. For Marina to have someone new in her life as well…she imagined it would be difficult. She just hoped that she wasn’t imposing on everyone’s lives too badly…

Apri smiled when they offered a tour of the house, and when Ming became excited by the idea of showing her his room. “Right now?” April asked, slightly astounded. They must’ve had a good amount of money to buy the boy a bed he might not want in a year. It was such a different environment to be in…nothing like she had ever experienced or been in. And suddenly everything was too real. She was going to be living here, Marina was actually her sister, everything was actually looking bright for once.

Marina laughed, nodding. "Yup! Last year it was..." "Football." Jackson piped up. "Yeah, football, his bed was all black and white." She said with a nod and a laugh. As Ming threw his door open, Mari went in first. She thought maybe it was rude but she couldn't worry about it that much because she had been in that room so many times, but it felt like it had been forever.

"So dis is my bed, dis is my wall, dis is my closet..." Ming seemed to look around for another thing to show off as Marina found a strange comfort in the fact that Ming still had trouble speaking some words. He had already changed so much in the time she was missing, at least something had stayed the same. "Oh! And dese are my toys! Do you ever pway twains?" Mari chuckled, patting his head. "Maybe another time Ming. Should we show her her room?" Ming nodded, running there next. The room was large, grey walls with burgundy and gold accents, it was plain in comparison to the rest of the house. "So of course you can redecorate of however you'd like. This is your home now, as long as you're still okay with that." Tyler said. Mari smiled at his words, relieved. The rest of the house was shown until they got to Marina's room. She ran in and jumped on the perfectly made bed, staring at the twinkly lights and pink and purple decorations and sparkles everywhere and sighed. "And last but certainly not least, this is my bedroom!"

Not to mention he’s injured right now, and I’m really worried about him…and I feel like I’m going to explode because I’m worried and sad about a million things at once, and its all so overwhelming..
