We pray for St Mary’s, give thanks for our Administrator Jess, and pray for our Standing Committee that meets tonight.
We pray especially this day for our Church family at St Luke’s and give thanks for all their faithful service.
We ask God to bring an end to war in our world and pray for all those working genuinely for a just and lasting peace.
We pray for our leaders and our Government in these difficult and bruising times.
We pray for the newly elected Council in this place. We pray that they will act with wisdom, openness and humility.
We pray for our corner of this great city, giving thanks for those who keep us safe and those who care for the sick.
We give thanks for – and pray for – all the dedicated staff in schools and colleges in this community.
We remember all young people taking exams this summer. We ask God to give them peace and clarity of mind.
We pray for our worship at St Luke’s and St Mary’s this day and especially pray for Junior Church and its leaders.
