When will the app be available?

Once the web-app is complete, it will be very easy to touch up the front end to run smoothly on mobile devices. We are hoping to have a sound mobile optimization by end of the month. We will be releasing Android and iOS apps. With this in mind, there is a very good chance that Apple and Google Play will not allow us to be on their app stores. If this is the case, we will have direct download links to these applications which can be installed using a technique called “sideloading”. This allows you to install apps that can’t be found on the Apple or Google app store. We will be transparent with both Apple and Google when asking them if we can be on their stores. We will comply with all of their terms and conditions. If we are still denied the opportunity to be on their stores, we will provide direct download links to our application which you can download at your own discretion. We aim to get this going in the next few months.

The Official “Log Off” Protest F.A.Q! 

The “Log Off” protest is in response to the recent NSFW ban announced by Tumblr. The ban flags all content the filtering system detects as NSFW, reducing visibility to the community. The system has proven time and time again that is inefficient, oftentimes flagging SFW material as NSFW. 

This SFW material includes art, memes and so on. This ban directly hurts the community and will not solve the actual problems at hand due to the poor flagging system. Because of this, the entire community will suffer.  

So to respond, I propose that every user on Tumblr logs off of Tumblr for 24 hours on December 17th at 12 am EST.

The Death of tumblr.

Well guys, it’s been great, I’ve seriously enjoyed all the love you guys have given- my blog has grown rapidly the past year, and I’m glad I got to share my interests with you all. I’m sure most of the blog will be deleted in a few hours- along with hundreds of thousands of other users blogs/posts. I will be logging off tonight- and most likely deleting soon. This decision will ultimately be the death of tumblr- and it will go down like a sinking ship that @staff has created -ironically trying to keep the company “afloat”

@staff this decision hurts the lgbtq and marginalized communities the most- and it’s sad that our values of sexual expression mean so little to tumblr- which is why-

I am actively awaiting the site cumblr to launch and possibly setting up on bdsmlr as well. I hope to see you guys there.
