Purpose

It’s so important to find purpose. Your purpose in a friendship, your purpose at home, your purpose at work, your purpose in society, and ultimately your purpose in life. Most of the time we’re doing things so mechanically - without asking “why?”

Imagine living your entire life not knowing what you’re living for, who you’re living for, and essentially why you’re living it. Let’s be purposeful. Let’s have a meaning. Let’s be aware of ourselves.

Really miss sitting on the edge of my parents' bed at midnight talking to them about how far we've come as a family. From the luxuries of Kathmandu, to the ruthless realities as immigrants in America. Ironically, I like that I'm on the other side of the country as them. It helps me realize how much they struggled for me, and how eternal their love for me is.

I always leave VA with a huge knot in my chest. It's never easy to leave a place that has accepted you, nurtured you, and prepared you to face the world. Until next time!
