RIP MCA
If your from Detroit and you don't know why this weekend is the greatest weekend of the year, you need to rethink your life.
Years ago, people used to generalize EDM as techno, but now people generalize it as dubstep.

There's just something about the way the vocals were recorded on this track. I dunno just sounds awesome.
most insane live band ever.
"I have discovered that it is enough when a single note is beautifully played. This one note, or a silent beat, or a moment of silence, comforts me."

SEEING EINSTEIN ON THE BEACH THIS WEEKEND. DONT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE.
Dear followers,
My blog is a music blog. It consists purely of me posting links to Youtube videos of songs I like and sharing my thoughts about these songs. Music is an art form. It is not a commodity to be bought and sold. Records are a commodity, tapes and cd's are a commodity but the sound itself is not. When I post a link to a Youtube video I'm sharing the creation of an artist. These sounds are meant to be heard, that is why they were made. The sounds were not created to be bought and sold. Therefore they cannot be stolen. However not everyone understands this. Members of our government want to make my blog impossible to run. People with PhD's in law and economics. What do these people know of music and art? Members of the media want to make my blog impossible to run. People who run big businesses and lust after money and power these people do not understand the true beauty of creation. Music is not an object that can be controlled by the government. It is and outpouring of ideas and emotions. If Sopa/ Protect-IP passes my blog along with countless other much more relevant and important sites will effectively be shut down. It may not happen right away, it may not be as obvious as a direct shutdown. But overtime the internet, particularly the creative side of the internet would become crippled. So it's up to you; musicians, artists, creators of all things. Stop this ridiculousness. Inform yourselves, write to your senators and congressmen. Keep torrenting music, keep youtube listening, use myspace and bandcamp and reverbnation and buy cd's and go to concerts. Give money to artists in the right way so we can continue to openly experience creativity on the internet.
"Can't believe how strange it is to be anything at all"
