Why don’t Espeon and Unbreon have a name? Is there a reason Wes never named them?

he knew how to differentiate between the both of them when they were eevees. that's how much he cared about his pokemon. even when you, the outsider, cannot distinguish one eevee to the next, wes can. he knew their personalities differ. one that acted more regal and aloof, whilst the other one was reckless and mischievous. i might consider wes giving them different colored collars, but umbreon despises clothes. so only one eevee would have a collar. espeon doesn't mind it, but also doesn't understand the appeal humans have to put their pokemon in outfits. additionally, wes was never really into nicknaming pokemon. he never thought it was necessary. some people do it, and he never objects if said person does. it's not his thing. that doesn't mean he doesn't love his pokemon any less. absolutely not. would a heartless criminal successfully meet the friendship evolution requirements for two eeveelutions if he were such a person?
