Online Intervention Project
For my project, I decided to use google earth. Sometimes when typing my home address into google maps, the same address but in other states will appear. It made me wonder how many people have the same address as me. I found many examples across the country, and even a couple in England. All of the addresses I found have many similarities, for example they all tended to be in rural areas.
The examples shown here are:
1029 Whitesides Road, Galway NY (my house!!)
1029 Whitesides Road, Haydock, UK
1029 Whitesides Road, Bessemer, NC
1029 Whitesides Road, Forest City, NC
1029 Whitesides Road, Coxs Creek, KY
1029 Whitesides Road, Clover, SC
campaign project: photos
99 problems: best image
I believe that this is my best photo out of the 100 photos taken for my project. It was one of the first photos I took when starting the 5 tenets. This photo is of my friend Santi, getting his makeup done by my other friend Jordan. None of us knew each other before coming to Purchase, but we all quickly became extremely close. This photo reminds me of our bond and the fun day we had together, when Jordan gave us all funky eyeshadow and we hung out all night. Besides the sentimental reasons for this being my favorite photo, I also believe it has a strong composition, nice lighting and colors.
The Alphabet
I believe my strongest letter is W, and my weakest were K and P, because I was unable to find them.

uncomfortable project.
For my Uncomfortable Project, I decided that I did not want to take photos of things that were considered gross or ugly, as I had seen most people were taking that route. I began to think of mundane everyday things that make people uncomfortable. I’ve noticed that a lot of people, myself included, feel uneasy when things are slightly out of place, or is slightly different than everything around it. I tried to capture things that would make the viewer feel the urge to fix them, or change them to make them “right”.
