That last post was about ISFF. I suspect that staff is refraining from banning her current account because they're using her as a honeypot, potentially on instructions from law enforcement: she's claimed in the past that people she characterizes as pedophiles use Tumblr to communicate with her privately.

The trouble here is that Tumblr moderation is extremely bad with context. I don't think they always know what individual account flags mean. If I'm right, then interacting with ISFF and her friends in any capacity - including sending an ask saying "go fuck yourself" - could put you at risk of being banned.

There was a sequence in The Wire where a guy asks his phone company why his line kept working even after he stopped paying. He was told it was because the account Had A Flag On It. "What, am I fucking special?"

The phone company is not supposed to give out that sort of information: they should just say "I don't know." But the underpaid customer service rep does not necessarily know that the "do not disconnect" flag means "this line is bugged as part of an ongoing criminal investigation."
