This is an ongoing project I am working at with no end in sight. There was a time when I called it "quietudes," but it also appeared on David Alan Harvey's "Burn" blog as "American Matter" a few years back. I feel like the least possible effort towards any creative project is generally the best approach (versus over asserting yourself in your art or with a message). As a photographer, I think this portfolio represent images where the "least possible" was done most effectively. Photographs where the photographer has left no trace of himself.
