Chae Song Hwa is such an important character though. Like. She’s a 40 year old woman who is more than successful in her career and is genuinely happy with her life.

Her arc in season one was so wonderfully subtle, with the health scare propelling her to live the slower lifestyle she wanted for a year.

Our girl really went after what she wanted and what she wanted was that life. The slow life where she could focus on what she wanted.

Consider R88 and how the characters of the mothers are the closest to her in age. The way they portray them vs how Song Hwa is is so different and honestly aspirational.
