“ well, our parents are close friends, even now and growing up, we spent a fair bit of time together, royal balls and such but it was purely platonic back then, i promise! and then, during our freshman year… he offered to be my accompaniment for a recital i was singing in. we rehearsed almost daily and totally reconnected but on a level much, much different to where we’d been before and we played the recital — it went perfectly… but t h a t ’ s not the question! it was storming outside once we’d finished and he was insistent on walking me back to my dormitory safely, we didn’t walk as much as we ran back to our halls… but i thought it very gentlemanly of him all the same and once we reached the door, it just sorta happened! despite the wet and cold, it was pretty romantic, i think? tell me if i’m wrong? ”

dora believes she was raised by the most caring individuals to have ever graced the earth and she pretty much worships the ground her parents walk on, she loves them both so much?? from what they stand for to what they’ve provided her, she just wants to do them proud in everything she does.
i see a lot of cher horowitz and elle woods manifested in dora?? she’s incredibly vivacious, bubbly, hard-working and enthusiastic, perhaps a little too much at times?? she always has the best intentions though sometimes they’re a little mistimed and misguided?? and ultimately has a lot of heart and a lot of love to give.
she wears rose coloured glasses a lot of the time, prefers to think things are better than they actually are. she’s a real dreamer, v whimsical and fanciful and would love for the villain situation to sort itself out and be able to live freely with both her parents and the villains but understands none of that will happen without a lot of hard work and support from the children of the heroes.
she used to be a cheerleader at auradon prep.
girl’s got her mother’s talent of communicating with animals. she absolutely loves animals, nearly as much as she loves her parents.
at university, she’s studying musical theatre + costume design. she has a passion for theatrics.
she genuinely just wants the best for people? she wants change, and change for the better. she hates the tension between heroes and villains and will probably go out of her way to change that.

last thing: one specific plot i would love to have is the tol to her smol. she’s this tiny lil princess with a heart of gold and i’d love to her much taller ride or die around to keep her company <3
