"You wanna come take a nap with me?"

He looks at @snowto-todoroki and gives him a nod

"Maybe we can all take a nap, build a giant fort together as a family? What do you think about that idea?"

"I don't want to build a fort right now, I'm so tired. I just want to sleep for more than five minutes."

"Just for right now. Then later tonight, when its just us and the babies are sleeping, I'll treat you like a princess and make you your favorite and give you a massage? Deal?"

"I don't want any of that, I just want to get these kids to bed and get some rest. Even all of that sounds like so much work. I called my mom to come help us. Maybe she can help you make the fort."

"Alright. Go, go lay down and take a nap. Me and your mom have the kids. Dinner will be ready for when your awake."

"Thank you, Katsuki. I love you. So much."

He kisses Katsuki's cheek and heads over to their room for a nap.

"No trick. I promise. How do you like your meat?"

"I have some jerky. Do you wanna come with me? Get some?"

His ears perk and his tail starts to wag but he stays frowning.

He looks indecisive

"It's your choice. I won't force you to do anything, I promise. But I have lots of fluffy blankets for you to make a den in, if you want, along with the meat. I promise I won't intrude on your space."

he agrees, following him

Shouto smiles, offering the tiny boy his tail to grab, with no pressure to take it if he didn't want to.

He goes to grab it but stops himself, sucking on his thumb anxiously instead

"It's okay. You can grab it. I don't mind. It's very soft. I grab it when I'm anxious sometimes."

"Hey babe, I'm home-"

"Look at what I found when I was out."

Shouto smiles, proudly presenting the little Katsuki clinging to his tail.

He stares at the little Katsuki, ear twitching as he looks. @eijirou-thesharkiest runs out from behind him, going straight to Shouto.

He picks Eijirou up, placing him on his hip with ease. He makes sure to not get him too close to the little Katsuki, unsure how he'd react.

"This little one is hungry and wants some jerky. Do you think you could get some for him?"

*he rubs his face on Shouto the way he's seen katsuki do, tiny hands holding his cheeks*

"That's very sweet, thank you."

Shouto laughs, bouncing him a little.

*he kisses him. He's a little slobbery*

"Are you trying to eat me? Are you hungry?"

Nuh-uh! mwah!

*he does it again*

"Oh, you're giving me kisses. That's very sweet. You're just a sweet boy, aren't you?"

Shouto holds him up in the air, spinning with him.

*he giggles and squirms*

He brings him back to his chest, patting his back.

"Were you good for Katsuki when I was gone? What did you get up to?"

*he babbles something about "kassewti" and "pay" and "keen up" then giggles at himself*

"That sounds like a lot of fun. Did you play with Keiko at all?"

Uh-huh bebe

"I'm glad you're making friends."

He sniffs Eijirou.

"You smell like you need a change."

Poop.

"Yes. Poop. Let's go change you, then."

*gnawing on his shirt*

He changes him quickly, putting him in a new onesie since the other one had not come out unscathed, wiggling his little toes once he's finished.

"Look at you, so cute. All better now."

*he kicks his feet at him and giggles, trying to roll off the changing table*

"Oh, nope, nope, stay on the table, please. Thank you, sir."

*alligator rolling and whining as he tries to fight his way off the table anyway*

"Do you want down? You have some floor time, if you want. We're all done changing you."

Dow' dow'

He sets him gently down on the ground, sitting down next to him.

*he makes his way to the nearest electrical outlet as quickly as he can*

"No, no, let's keep our hands away from that. That will hurt you. It's got this thing called electricity in it, and if you touch it, all of that will go in you and make you feel very not good."

Shouto gently pulls him away from the outlet, handing him a plush instead.

"Let's play with this instead, okay?"

Nonono

*immediately going back to the outlet*

"No, we're not playing with that. We have a few options. We can play with the stuffie, we can go watch some TV, or we can take a nap. What would you like to do?"

Shouto grabs Eijirou and places him in his lap, grabbing his little hands in his.

*he can hear the hum of an incoming tantrum as eijirou pushes him away and tries to twist out of his lap*

Shouto takes a deep breath, preparing himself for the outrage to come. Why was it that children got so upset over not being allowed to harm themselves? He would never understand it.

"Eijirou, I've given you your options. If you can't choose, I'm going to have to choose for you."

*that did absolutely nothing to quell the tantrum. Dada you fool. You absolute imbecile. He brings down the rage of a thousand gods and starts thrashing and screaming like it's his mother fucking job*

Yeah, Shouto knew that wasn't going to work. He just sighs and picks the kid up, bringing him over to one of the cribs they have in the nursery. He doesn't raise his voice or react to Eijirou's tanturm, even though it's hell on his sensitive ears. He keeps a calm face as he sets the boy down in the crib.

"Looks like we're taking a nap, then, since someone is so fussy."

*in that moment all of the anger melts away from his little body and he is completely heartbroken. Abandoned in his moment of need. Left to rot in prison. He collapses and begins bawling *

"Yes, I'm very well aware of how distraught you are. I'd be happy to pick you up and watch some TV with you if you are willing to behave. That's still an option, but if you keep throwing a fit like a fussy boy, you'll have to go down for a nap."

*too upset to listen. The big boy who understands logic as much as a toddler can is being drowned out by a very sad baby with no nap today*

"Looks like we're taking a nap then."

He shuts off the lights and sits next to the crib, rocking it gently.

*he's reaching through the bars, pawing at him*

"It's sleepy time, baby boy. Not Dada time. Little babies need their naps."

Shouto smiles, proudly presenting the little Katsuki clinging to his tail.

He stares at the little Katsuki, ear twitching as he looks. @eijirou-thesharkiest runs out from behind him, going straight to Shouto.

He picks Eijirou up, placing him on his hip with ease. He makes sure to not get him too close to the little Katsuki, unsure how he'd react.

"This little one is hungry and wants some jerky. Do you think you could get some for him?"

*he rubs his face on Shouto the way he's seen katsuki do, tiny hands holding his cheeks*

"That's very sweet, thank you."

Shouto laughs, bouncing him a little.

*he kisses him. He's a little slobbery*

"Are you trying to eat me? Are you hungry?"

Nuh-uh! mwah!

*he does it again*

"Oh, you're giving me kisses. That's very sweet. You're just a sweet boy, aren't you?"

Shouto holds him up in the air, spinning with him.

*he giggles and squirms*

He brings him back to his chest, patting his back.

"Were you good for Katsuki when I was gone? What did you get up to?"

*he babbles something about "kassewti" and "pay" and "keen up" then giggles at himself*

"That sounds like a lot of fun. Did you play with Keiko at all?"

Uh-huh bebe

"I'm glad you're making friends."

He sniffs Eijirou.

"You smell like you need a change."

Poop.

"Yes. Poop. Let's go change you, then."

*gnawing on his shirt*

He changes him quickly, putting him in a new onesie since the other one had not come out unscathed, wiggling his little toes once he's finished.

"Look at you, so cute. All better now."

*he kicks his feet at him and giggles, trying to roll off the changing table*

"Oh, nope, nope, stay on the table, please. Thank you, sir."

*alligator rolling and whining as he tries to fight his way off the table anyway*

"Do you want down? You have some floor time, if you want. We're all done changing you."

Dow' dow'

He sets him gently down on the ground, sitting down next to him.

*he makes his way to the nearest electrical outlet as quickly as he can*

"No, no, let's keep our hands away from that. That will hurt you. It's got this thing called electricity in it, and if you touch it, all of that will go in you and make you feel very not good."

Shouto gently pulls him away from the outlet, handing him a plush instead.

"Let's play with this instead, okay?"

Nonono

*immediately going back to the outlet*

"No, we're not playing with that. We have a few options. We can play with the stuffie, we can go watch some TV, or we can take a nap. What would you like to do?"

Shouto grabs Eijirou and places him in his lap, grabbing his little hands in his.

*he can hear the hum of an incoming tantrum as eijirou pushes him away and tries to twist out of his lap*

Shouto takes a deep breath, preparing himself for the outrage to come. Why was it that children got so upset over not being allowed to harm themselves? He would never understand it.

"Eijirou, I've given you your options. If you can't choose, I'm going to have to choose for you."

*that did absolutely nothing to quell the tantrum. Dada you fool. You absolute imbecile. He brings down the rage of a thousand gods and starts thrashing and screaming like it's his mother fucking job*

Yeah, Shouto knew that wasn't going to work. He just sighs and picks the kid up, bringing him over to one of the cribs they have in the nursery. He doesn't raise his voice or react to Eijirou's tanturm, even though it's hell on his sensitive ears. He keeps a calm face as he sets the boy down in the crib.

"Looks like we're taking a nap, then, since someone is so fussy."

*in that moment all of the anger melts away from his little body and he is completely heartbroken. Abandoned in his moment of need. Left to rot in prison. He collapses and begins bawling *

"Yes, I'm very well aware of how distraught you are. I'd be happy to pick you up and watch some TV with you if you are willing to behave. That's still an option, but if you keep throwing a fit like a fussy boy, you'll have to go down for a nap."

*too upset to listen. The big boy who understands logic as much as a toddler can is being drowned out by a very sad baby with no nap today*

"Looks like we're taking a nap then."

He shuts off the lights and sits next to the crib, rocking it gently.

*the growl turns into a bark, and a man yells as a tiny furball Katsuki runs out of the alley, blond tail and ears, and his hair is cut choppy, his overalls stained*

Shouto pauses, taking in the sight before cooing, crouching down and offering his hand.

"Hello. My name is Shouto Todoroki. Are you lost?"

Katsuki growls, ears perked

His stance is defensive, but he lets out a small whine when his stomach growls

"That's a big name for a big boy. I bet you need to eat lots and lots to stay big and strong like you are. I have food, if you want. Lots of meat and noodles."

"I have some jerky. Do you wanna come with me? Get some?"
