In the light of the moon a starving student lay on the grass.
One Sunday he got his first office job.
He started on Monday had induction and ate through one apple. But he was still hungry. So he snuck out and had a slice of pizza.
On Tuesday he ate through two pears, but he was still hungry. So when no one was looking he went to the ice cream parlour.
On Wednesday he ate through three plums, but he was still hungry. So when everyone left the break room he ate three meals from the fridge.
On Thursday he ate through four strawberries, but he was still hungry. So he had a kebab from the kart outside his building.
On Friday he ate through five oranges, but he was still hungry. The girls at the office had started giggling when he was around and talking in hushed whispers, his office clothes were feeling tight and he struggled taking the stairs when the elevator was down.
On Saturday he ate through one piece of chocolate cake, one ice- cream cone, one pickle, one slice of Swiss cheese, one slice of salami, one lollipop, one piece of cherry pie, one sausage, one cupcake and one watermelon.
 That night he had stomachache!
The next day was Sunday again.
The caterpillar ate through one Alka-Seltzer, and after that he felt much better.
Now he wasn´t hungry anymore and he wasn´t a starving student any more. He was a big, fat desk monkey, and he knew it…and he hated himself!
He hid in his small house, called in sick, stayed by himself.
He stayed inside for more than two weeks. Then the smell caused the neighbours to call the police.
They busted in and found a gaunt motionless figure, in his lifeless hands he clutched a note that said
  “I’m a beautiful butterfly!”
