i can't imagine shipping liu with anyone but maybe some sort of jane or myself

jane its like cuz they'd both hate jeff and they seem like kuuderes. chat i'm not good at this shipping thing. i came up with this long long ago and don't really like and don't really ship it. only if it was like in the options of "who do you ship liu with" would i ship it. i'm not really good at this shipping thing er.

For me, both EJ and Liu were brutally betrayed by someone they loved. For Jack, it was his girlfriend, for Liu, his brother. The trauma causes them to bond, becoming desperately dependent on each other from a need for comfort and a fear of someone hurting them again.

Not only that, but Liu is dead in my AU. Sully is a demon. Both of them are undead demon hosts that lost their humanity because someone close to them killed them (In jacks case, worse). It is hard to cope with the fact that you are no longer considered the same species as your fellow man. They both get it, though. They can comfort and understand each other in a way no one else can.

Moving on from just the parallels, they are both quieter people. Liu doesn’t like yelling and it makes jacks ears hurt. Liu is very cold from his death, but Jack is very warm from the hot tar under his skin, so cuddling is nice. They are both polite enough where they don’t instantly hate each other, so they can grow to be friends (then more). Liu is very zombie like, cold and held together with stitches, and Jack is very demon like. Honestly, most people at the manor probably look at them with disgust for how they look and must feed on flesh.

Honestly, my AU has a lot of head canons. But the parallels between cult jack and Liu is even without them is strong enough for me to think it’s perfect. Not only that, but I think jack is hot and Liu is my favorite special boy so he gets to to with him. It is very self indulgent.

Personally, I have never seen the appeal of toby x jack. Like, ever. Maybe because toby in my AU is a 19 year old feral man, but it feels like there isn’t anything there. Where is the trauma parallels. Where is the looking deep into your partners eyes and knowing when they die, there won’t be anyone on earth that can understand you, and you will be completely alone.

I get it tho, there is something for everyone. It is what makes your brain tick. Like I said, I don’t see me ever shipping ticcijack. Cest la vie.
