What Do American Values Mean to You?

The classic American values are equality and individual freedom but who are these values really directed towards? Being in America gives you a place that isn't wrecked from war. It gives us running water, electricity, and clean water; that privilege anyone can acknowledge. America is the land of opportunities but for who? People of color are not in favor of these values, they are directed to white people but for the people of color, what do we have? Do people of color have the privilege to be in political situations? No negative stereotypes? Positive media representation? Do people take us seriously and listen to our voices? Are tons of POC not fetashized for their skin color and culture? POC do not hold any real privilege other than being in a heavily developed country. Yes I agree that we are definitely more fortunate than others, that i can acknowledge but do we all, as people, have equal rights or standing? Especially in the media and financially? The american values are good morally and we love to see it but lets be honest here, most of our values are directed towards white people. As the years go on we try our best to get positive LGTBQ and POC representation but until then, 'justice and liberty for all' will not be for us. American values will not be for us.

Is cheating getting worse?

The way I see it, if you cheat academically in high school and under then you're passing just like any other student. College on the other hand is your major, the thing you choose to do for the rest of your life so if you cheat and still struggle, that's on you. Doing a class in high school that wont benefit you in the future is useless. For example, taking English when you wanna be a construction worker is useless so if you cheat for English in high school it wont matter, as long as you don't get caught. Might be biased because I hate chemistry and yet I wanna be a psychiatrists. My brains are fighting but either way cheating in a class that wont benefit your future is fine as long as you don't get caught because cheating is still something that's frowned down upon.

If we are talking about cheating in relationships, in my opinion, I think that its the same but maybe a little worse. Access to internet is really easy for people to cheat. People can put on a fake persona that might be the perfect somebody for someone across the computer. Some people don't have self control and don't care about the consequences. Situations vary but I say cheating romantically is a lot easier these days

Should the Covid vaccine be mandated for all?

Yes Covid vaccines should be mandated for all UNLESS you have a real medical condition that really prevents you from getting it OR you physically cannot go ie; parents say no. Some people want to fight against the covid vaccine mandate because of religious reasons, or 'my body my choice', or how it's untrustworthy because of how fast it was made, or how it's not 100%, and many more which all can be countered. 

People like to counter this by using religious reasons but shouldn't religion push you to have morals to protect yourself and others? SO getting the vaccine wouldn't be morally wrong or go against your religion. Some religions are homophobic so what would you have to say to that? Religion shouldn't be something you base yours and others health on either

Some say it shouldn't be trusted because of how fast it was made, how it's not 100% effective, and they don't know what's in it. Lets not pretend, you eat food made in 1 minute and probably haven't touched a vegetable in at least a week plus schools require you to get vaccines that aren't 100% effective either. In 2022 we should expect things to be made faster because of how advanced our technology is. From organ transplants to two headed dogs (1954) our technology is amazing. Not only that but the reason the vaccine was made in a hurry was BECAUSE people that refused to take the vaccine became inhumane and out of control therefore spreading the virus leading to authorities rushing the vaccine out of public desperation. Do you know EVERY single product that went into making your food? I know damn well you get the flu shots which aren't 100% effective plus there are tons of side effects to it too and a very VERY small percentage of people have died from it. All vaccines are made to help your body fight it off in the case that you DO get it. wow would you look at that, just like the covid vaccine! You get more riskier shots when you're a baby than the covid shot. if you eat public school lunch, don't worry about what's in the vaccine babe

Some people like to mock the abortion movement and use it for this. The 'My body' movement is used for abortion because of the fact that them aborting their kid affects no one but themselves. They're the ones going through 9 months of hell and have to deal with the kid in the end. This is not "my body my choice” as your actions affect people in need or sick and you only look at them when you need a scapegoat for your trash excuses. You don’t care about the people around you, you just wanna be dense and ignore the facts. Your body is affecting not only yourself in a negative way, but others too

Some people say the government is tracking us or that they are planning to kill us all. Let's be honest here, the government is not going to test all 7 billion of us at once and if you're afraid of them tracking you then you might as well get rid of every single piece of technology you've ever touched. Plus you're literally a highschool student. Why do you think you are special enough that the government wants to track you down? The government wouldn’t cause mass genocide by giving us defected vaccines that could kill us all. There are 7+ billion people against tens of governments, it's like there's no such thing as a right to revolution. The reason some have offered money for you to get it is because during the pandemic the economy suffered a blow. They want you to get better so you can get back to work and make money. They don't give two rats ass about how you feel. As long as you're good enough to go to work is all that matters and I think over the past few weeks that has shown. 

Despite all this AND MORE people will still refuse the vaccine but I won't fight you anymore. Over the past 2 and a half years, so much misinformation has been spread because of politically biased people/ news articles and I guess people would rather listen to that than actual DOCTORS. Plus a lot of people have a wack sense of mortality these days so.. If you don't want to get the vaccine then cope I guess
