social media sets the bar so fucking high and in my opinion it's the reason why young people nowadays are trapped in a hamster wheel of happiness. it gives you this mindset of making your happiness dependent on whether you have thing X/Y. you want thing X/Y so bad, that the desire creates a vast feeling of emptiness and dissatisfaction within you, and then you latch onto that want even more since chasing something gives your life some sort of purpose, and we all need purpose and direction in life, something to aim for. only, that the thing X/Y is always something that will not make you happy (some kind of product, recognition from a person who isn't even a good friend, a job just for the title of it), but you will just get used to it quickly or realize it's not what you thought it was, which leads you to chase the next high, and the more often you see that what you have chased hasn't made you happy the more gullible and desperate you become to fall for the next big thing, and so you will waste your energy and money on the dumbest shit.

The Mist. Total mindfuck! It had Andrea's, Dales' and Carol's actors in it, too, and the guy cast as the main character was supposed to play Rick Grimes in TWD! The ending was so bleak though. Idk what to make of it!

My new job. Setting up my new apartment because it's still in its baby phase. It's so much work. And university this fall.

Matcha!! But not the awful one I bought today. That one sucked so much. I like hot matcha with strawberry a lot!

Plane. Because I don't get to do it often. So it's exciting and special. It means I truly get some time off. Train is only good if it's a special passenger class or relatively empty, on time and with friends.

Honestly, Saturday morning. It just sets my mind free.

what do you guys do when someone hits on you and you just don't feel anything for them, but they are your friend. It's easy to reject someone you barely know or who is just vaguely acquaintances with you but friends.. that's just awkward as hell. Last two friends who wanted to be with me i turned down harshly after letting them down gently the first time, because they were entitled and got angry and rude which showed me their true character, but now i have this situation with my male friend who is super nice and handled my rejection well. I somehow don't want to keep seeing someone who might have a crush on me because it's so awkward for both, but i also don't know if this friend is just "attracted' or has a more intense crush and i literally cannot bring myself to ask because it's so awkward to force a confession like that and also a really personal and unfair question when you don't return the feelings.
