What’s your favorite generation of Hanes Women’s Rib Cuff socks?

I vote the 1998 black/purple packaging and the 1999 teal green package with the pink toe seam. The 2001 and 2005 versions seemed to run smaller than the early generations.

HOLY GRAIL FIND - HANES’ LAST HURRAH!

I stumbled upon this UBER-RARE pack of Hanes Women’s Cuff Crew Socks from 2005-2006. Not only were these socks released without the classic “Hanes Her Way” branding, but these were the FINAL iteration of classic style women’s wide rib cuff/crew socks that Hanes would ever release. These hung around Walmart, Target, and Hanes Outlet stores for a few years in the late-2000s before finally disappearing for good.

To the best of my knowledge, this is the first time I’ve spotted this edition on eBay.

Fun story: I remember buying a couple of packs for my then-girlfriend (now ex-wife) in a snowstorm. She wore them regularly for a couple of years, pairing them with her daily outfits and frequently wearing them for me during sex. Because she lived at home at the time, these socks would often end up in both her mom’s and older sister’s laundry. At one point, all three of them were wearing the same style socks. It was heaven! ☺️
