sofie-lopezâ:
Sofia lets out a quiet sigh, a wave of melancholia hitting her as she listens to her ex speak. She remembers all of the times she sat in the passenger seat, next to Romeo, while he drove her home. She furrows her brows, confused. âYour babies? Did you knock someone up, Ro?â She asks, seriously hoping the answer is no, and that heâs talking about pets. She taps her feet on the dashboard, aware that it was pretty rude, but her feet were sore from the pumps she had been wearing all night. âYou wanna come in for a bit?âÂ
a laugh slips his lips, romeo nodding his head, âyou would think, wouldnât you? unfortunately not yetâŠiâm not that careless.â he muses, though his words have a hint of sadness. romeo always wanted a family, thought heâd have a few babies running around by this timeâŠwith her. unfortunately, that didnât work out. âiâm talking about my dog and my duck.â he further explains, eyes glued to the road. as he pull down the familiar street, her question makes him think, eyes on the brunette for a moment too long. âermâŠwho else is going to make sure youâre all tucked and safe?â without another word, the male turns off the car before exiting.Â
âIâm sorry, did you say your duck?â Sofie raises an eyebrow, surprised by her exâs answer. âWhen and how did you come to own a duck?â She lets out a chuckle as they approach her house. It was a fairly large mansion. A smile graces her features as Romeo speaks. âThatâs true, I might need someone to hold my hair back if I barf,â Sofie says, trying to keep a straight face. As they pull into her driveway, puts her pumps back on looks through her purse for her keys. Once theyâre through the front door, Sofie tosses her purse aside and collapses on the couch.
