okay since you asked i will stop pretending i am not thinking about this and also indulge in procrastination on the next chapter which i've almost (!) finished.
daphne is obviously carrying the ship on her back. now she does ship it in earnest, and as a verified real one she wants draco to be happy, but a lot of this is her feeling a bit guilty about the yule ball situation and overcompensating by being extremely (unhelpfully) supportive. in general daphne is super aware of the fact that she was a problem in draco and hermione's relationship and instead of being remotely honest or direct with hermione about that fact (the two things that hermione would want and appreciate) she's decided to just herd draco toward a romantic confession as an act of penance/apology scheme (term of art). from the mind that brought you "challenge ron to a duel! just do it! coward!! :)" my love. she has problems <3
lavender is pro but only because she thinks that hermione needs to get laid for medical purposes. and perhaps even for the general good also. she has contemplated locking them in a broom cabinet to this end. parvati's influence alone has stopped her from attempting. daphne's influence has NOT stopped her from attempting.
parvati and marietta edgecomb both have baby crushes on draco and have the outside bet on draco and hermione being academic life partners who fuck other people.
ginny respects both hermione and draco in a way that is completely antithetical to speculating on whom they want to fuck, and she's sort of assimilated them mentally into the Sibling Horde such that any speculation makes her grossed out.
fred and george respect hermione and draco in a way completely compatible with speculating on whom they want to fuck, and the Sibling Horde Assimilation has done nothing to stop this, and in fact has made it worse. the great hall scene where everyone's interrogated about their first kisses is in large part attributable to this.
romilda is a True Neutral because she thinks draco and hermione are both catastrophically hot and is intrigued by them fucking in an aesthetic way, but she'd be equally pleased if they were single since she could flirt with both of them. (lavender has tried desperately to impress on her the amount of Bad Idea that is.)
a bunch of nerd boys from ravenclaw and hufflepuff have passionate from-a-distance crushes on hermione, probably including anthony goldstein. there was a cut plotline in book 5 where he tried to flirt with her but honestly with the ron subplot going too i looked at the outline and it just felt too much like the bachelorette with fascism. anyway they're not fans of draco intensely but also acknowledge that it's a super bad idea to get in the middle of Whatever That Is.
