day one of my tiny build challenge 🌿

welcome to Marigold Walk-Up — a cozy little Tomarang tiny built for warm light, narrow stairs, and everyday living. stacked high, wrapped in greenery, and made to feel lived-in rather than perfect.

this challenge is all about building tiny homes inspired by different worlds, and Tomarang felt like the perfect place to start ! dense, tropical, a little messy, and full of charm.

🏡✨ 7 DAYS OF TINY: WORLD EDITION ✨🏡

A Sims 4 Build Challenge

For 7 days, build 7 tiny homes, each inspired by a different Sims world. The goal isn’t perfection — it’s making a tiny home that feels like it belongs there and to have fun doing it.

🌸 General Rules

One tiny home per "day"

Any lot, any packs -- can use building mods or CC if you wish but for the sake of the challenge I will be staying away from using cc!

Tiny Living lot type recommended but not required

Stay under 64 tiles (Tiny or Micro — your choice!)

Debug & moveobjects allowed (don’t stress about it)

Playable layout required (bed, bathroom, kitchen)

PROPMPTS UNDER THE CUT.~

DAY 1 — TOMARANG

Dense, tropical, lived-in

World Vibe: humid air, narrow streets, layered living

Your tiny should include:

Some kind of outdoor space (balcony, porch, courtyard, or rooftop)

A compact layout that feels stacked or tucked-in

At least one plant or greenery moment

Optional flavor ideas:

Laundry area

Ceiling fans

Slightly cluttered, “real” interiors

✨ Think: “I rent this and I love it.”

DAY 2 — SAN SEQUOIA

Soft suburbia, cozy calm

World Vibe: safe, quiet, Pinterest-coded

Your tiny should include:

A clear front entrance (porch, path, or steps)

One family-friendly detail (desk, toy corner, extra chair)

A backyard or side yard — even a tiny one

Optional flavor ideas:

Craftsman or modern style

Big windows

Neutral, airy palette

✨ Think: “Starter home but make it cute.”

DAY 3 — RAVENWOOD

Moody, gothic, dramatic

World Vibe: fog, shadows, whispers

Your tiny should include:

A dark or muted color palette

One old-world or spooky detail (arched door, candles, vintage furniture)

A dramatic exterior shape (steep roof, tower vibe, asymmetry, statues, cemetery)

Optional flavor ideas:

Vampire coffin room

Graveyard-adjacent cottage

Gothic academia energy

✨ Think: “I live alone and I journal by candlelight.”

DAY 4 — TARTOSA

Romance, sunlight, stone

World Vibe: Mediterranean escape

Your tiny should include:

Light-colored exterior (white, beige, stone, creams, pastels)

A romantic outdoor space (terrace, balcony, patio)

Arches or soft curves somewhere

Optional flavor ideas:

Vines

Sheer curtains

Open-plan interior

✨ Think: “Honeymoon but permanent.”

DAY 5 — HENFORD-ON-BAGLEY

Storybook cozy

World Vibe: fairytale countryside

Your tiny should include:

A pitched roof, soft roofing, grass roofing, etc.

Natural materials (wood, stone, brick vibes)

A garden or nature detail

Optional flavor ideas:

Cottage clutter

Fireplace or stove

Mismatched furniture

✨ Think: “I bake bread and talk to chickens.”

MT. KOMOREBI

Minimal, intentional, calm

World Vibe: balance & simplicity

Your tiny should include:

A clean, simple layout

At least one low-profile or minimalist furnishing

A strong indoor–outdoor connection (windows, deck, view)

Optional flavor ideas:

Neutral palette

Natural wood

Snowy or mountain placement

✨ Think: “Less stuff. More peace. Respectful balance.”

🎲 DAY 7 — WILDCARD

Freedom day, baby!

Choose ONE:

🌈 Builder’s Choice: Any world you love

🎰 Random World: Use a random picker for chaos fun

Your tiny should include:

At least one detail inspired by the world

A layout that fits the environment

✨ Optional Bonus:

+1 bragging right if you go random

+1 if you pick a world not already used

✨ Think: “This one’s just for me.”
