Little boy feeling blue. Northern Moldova. (at Moldova)
Our time in Moldova was nostalgic. In my teenage years my family took small teams to Central Asia. These post-soviet nations saturated me with awe. The language, the people, the aesthetics. I vowed to return one day. Although Eastern Europe is not Central Asia, the USSR still had a presence here, therefor leaving a similar mark. The two weeks we stayed here stirred and fed a craving in me that I had all but forgotten. I took many film photos, which I eagerly anticipate developing in the coming weeks. For now, here are some digital shots. (at Moldova)

I am proud to be an American. I'm proud of our founding fathers, of all the men and women who have fought and are fighting for our freedom, and for what America stands for. Today I'll be missing the grill, corn on the cob, Doritos, and Budweiser as well as my family, friends, and fireworks 🎆🎇. Happy 4th of July! #MERICA!!! (at United States)

Really proud of this shot from Burano. It's always good for me to remember when admiring people's photography, that the photo I'm looking at might have been the only keeper in a whole pile of throwaways. This shot is one of probably 100 that didn't work out, and it's severely cropped 😜 The back story of beautiful art often holds a story of struggle. Sometimes it demands it. But we have got to stay hungry and keep trying. (at Burano, Veneto, Italy)

I am thankful for friends. Friends who love you when you're near, friends who love you when you're far. Friends who text you and ask how you're doing. Friends who fly to see you for a week. Lately I've been thinking of two special friends, @torey and @claudia.storer. Missing them. I'm so thankful they flew to see us, even though I was sick most of the time. Can't wait for next time we get to see each other. (at West Sussex)

South Africa, 2017. The kids followed us around like shadows, mimicking everything we did. They were so intrigued with what we were doing and how we did it, and were always eager to help where they could. I enjoyed having them... it was a constant reminder that this trip wasn't about building a house, it was about helping a family. (at Mpumalanga)
“You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” I John 4:4 NKJV / There is a battle for this nation. Times of persecution is increasing. The devil wants death, but God is greater than the devil. We were made for such a time as this. This battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the darkness. What we saw this morning in London was a manifestation in the physical of what is happening in the spiritual. A real, bloodthirsty battle. It's time to wake up and realise what's going on. Lives are at stake. (at Westminster Bridge)
