✷ do i have to draw every day? nope — this isn't that kind of challenge! i try to keep things laid back and accessible, so you can skip as many days as you need if you're busy, falling behind, or want a break for any reason! there are 10 main days (marked with a star) to anchor yourself through the month, you can just focus on those if you want!

✷ do i have to make finished art? nope — this challenge is intended for warming up and trying new things more than anything, so quick/unfinished sketches are fine! you can 'polish' your art if you want to, but it's not required at all!

✷ what is the tag for the event? #mARTch or #mARTch2026 this year! i encourage everyone to spend some time in there appreciating what other people are doing during the event!

✷ can you share/promote my entries? unfortunately this year i'm gonna have to take a step back from cataloguing entries - sorryyyy!!! in the past i've shared everything in the tag to my blog @bweirdevents but as the event has grown from a few friends to a few hundred people, it's left me with less and less time to actually participate myself. the blog will remain up as an archive and i'll still try my best to like/interact here and in the discord as much as i can, but my cataloguing days are definitely behind me

now that it's been a day or two since the zine jam went live, here are all my pieces!!!!

1: jorge owens and kajjala aliyev, originally for a new guys zine but unfinished and added to scraps from the zine room floor!

2: son jensen as florence's "lungs," for the forecast jazz album cover redraw zine!

3: a bit from "(piece) it together," a condensed version of a fic i'm still writing (stay tuned!) about the lisbon lynx, for the prehistory zine!

i loved being able to work on all of these :') ty to the organizers, and go check all the zines out if you haven't already!!!

the Blaseball Zine Jam is live in [checks watch] 6 hours!!!!! following the untimely demise of our beloathed sim, the blaseball community has been a bit Scattered (lmao) and we're all missing our favorite splort, so! if you're someone who's looking for a treasure trove of content in this post-blaseball world, boy oh boy is the Zine Jam the thing for you!!

i helped mod this year alongside some incredible people, and there are also SO many talented artists and writers who have poured their heart out into their work these past couple months!! jun (@pysics) has been an incredible friend and organizer throughout the whole thing, so PLEASE stop by, check out the amazing team, the creators, and their work!!!!

i've even got a couple pieces floating around (see above) and a zine that i organized myself, so! if you wanna see them in full, you'll have to see them for yourself! i hope you swing by and enjoy them, along with everyone else's wonderful contributions!!
