Something I've come to realize is that the internet LOVVEEESS weird sports. 17776 had football, blaseball was a feverish dream of passion and blood rain and peanuts. Now HorseRaceTests is conventionally just a bunch of vague horse shapes bouncing on a wall until one gets the carrots. Truly there is no reason for literally all of my friends to be talking about it yet here we are! We love sport.

Blaseball my bleloved gone from us too soon. A baseball sim where people got to vote on modifications to teams and game rules at the end of every week. This was fun in and of itself, but the real game was finding the loopholes in every rule that allowed for players to be brought back to life, infinite peanuts, and putting your entire pitching lineup on strike by sealing them all inside giant peanut shells. Fantastic story told over a number of social media platforms and largely driven by fans. Hello to the tumblr blesties that keep the memory of blaseball alive!
