This is obviously my opinion but I really wanna understand why people usually do that and I need to talk ABT it BC I see no one talking ABT it so I feel insane,

I don't understand how SOME people in the fandom make Ulla the good parents and Quirin the bad one.

Let me explain,

I did watch TTS and I do agree quirin fucked up ok he isn't the best dad and everything, but calling him a bad father is kinda hypocritical when you have Frederick next to him. Reminder quirin sacrificed himself during the amber, he did not think twice he jumped and punched him out of the way. Also, before the amber scene, we can clearly see quirin thinking abt his actions and wanna talk to Varian just before the amber accident. At the end of TTS season 3, quirin is trying to understand and interact with Varian's interests as you can see in the last episode. Let's remember quirin is a single father with Varian as his kid (I would personally lose it if my child would explode everything including the village we're living in and I'm the chef) and the chef of a village, he can't have a break. Quirin is a character who doesn't express his emotions and feelings and for Varian who needs those compliments such as the famous "I'm proud of you" make it a difficult pair. I also believe as we can see thanks to the brotherhood behaviour (and Disney being shitty so we don't know a lot ABT it) the dark kingdom and I believe the brotherhood is trained to be tough, less emotions. Gratitude and happiness are shown really badly and more with action than orally. I believe that since Varian is (mostly) the favourite, yes people are gonna take his side and yes people are gonna see quirin as a bad dad BC he doesn't show enough love as Varian wants. (Which is understandable obviously)

Now for Ulla's part. I don't have much to say since she isn't really canon so obviously everything is different for everyone BUT as much as the fandom agrees, Ulla went to the eternal library when Varian was a baby. I understand it was her dream and her passion but leaving your kid and husband when you know this quest is dangerous, you might die, never come back (basically what happened lol) and even if she did come back, she would have left her son for more than years. But at the same time as much as we know ABT "canon" Ulla's character, she loved her son and she just wanted to live adventures and what she liked.

So yeah both characters are fucked up in some way, differently but both kinda failed as parents but they both loved Varian and wanted the best for him

I just hate when people make quirin the evil dad

Anyway I'm not sure what I'm saying it's nearly 5 am and I wanted to express my opinion ABT it lmao

A server where every person in the Vat7k could join and have fun and do a lot of activities.

Ok im gonna admit guys. The whole king fredrick vs andrew argument is PRETAYYY dumb.

Like yeh fredrick sucks balls, but we atleast know his motivations come from abandonment issues and not wanting to lose his family. YES he does go abt these issues HORRIBLY but atleast hes coming from a good place

Andrew on the other hand is a groomer who wants to overthrow the government. With an ugly man bun and skinny jeans.

AMBERNURU HC TIME!!!!!!!!!!

. Amber fell first, but Nuru fell harder.

. At first Nuru who usually is not at all afraid to voice her opinion just like cannot even speak Infront of Amber or look at her without being a nervous wreck

. Hugo notices what's going on first and mocks her for it endlessly. Yong figures it out next and Varian is completely oblivious

. Nuru tried to cook Amber dinner once, it went horrendously but Nuru was too embarrassed to ask for help so Amber just watched bemusedly and then whipped up like a masterpiece afterwards out of the remaining ingredients Nuru hadn't burnt to a crisp (if anybody gets that this is a reference to midnight strangers the Scarian fic actually marry me, please)

. When Nuru invites Amber to a fancy ball at her kingdom she doesn't realise there's a dress code and shows up in her usual fit, Nuru has to drag her into her room and give her one of her dresses which is way too small on her so they are just in fits of giggles for the whole night because Amber can hardly move

. Nuru calls the freckles on Ambers face "her constellations" 🥹

. They are both awful at English. When writing letters to each other, which they do often, both Varian and Hugo are convinced they must be writing in some sort of secret code and spend ages trying to decipher it, Yong gets it though lol.

.They are both fluent in the language of flowers, and they communicate using it regularly. Even when they're mad at each other they'll give a bouquet of flowers to the other to communicate that message which confuses everybody else profusely

. When they have a disagreement it only lasts about an hour or two, they physically cannot stay mad at each other for longer then a day
