"Yeah…I got that…I thought you and Dad wouldn’t be back for a few months…" Peter said putting his keys in his pocket. Harry went ahead back into his room with a simple goodbye. "What could I be doing you wouldn’t like?"

"Peter, you know that your father and I have always encouraged you to be as mature as you think you can handle, as long as you can do it in a safe and responsible manner?" Steve asked, and perhaps he should have brought Tony with him to lecture Peter. "You're not being safe with your choices. You're hanging around men twice your age, you've been disappearing for hours going god knows where and I know you're an adult and you probably just want me off of your back but I just need to make sure you're safe.

Steve knocked on Peter’s dormroom door and politely waited for him to answer before shoving himself inside not at all poilitely. “We need to talk, Peter. I know this is college and you’re getting to know who you are and all but as your father there are things that I won’t stand for, and Yes I drove all the way down here just to talk.”

It was around three Peter decided to go back to his dorm and shower before going back out with Wade. The last two weeks had been finals hell for him personally some time with his relatively new boyfriend wouldn’t hurt. Reaching his dorm Peter frowned at the open door. Going inside he stopped. “Pops?”

Steve had spilled out his short speech before he had realized that it was not Peter in the dorm, but rather, his roommate. He then stood awkwardly, apologizing and explaining that he was peter's father. The roommate had let him stand inside until peter came in and Steve repeated his whole speal, plus the explanation of what had happened while peter was gone.

"Night night light?" Steve waited for Peter to affirm. "Don’t worry, daddy will be home before bedtime"
