“‘Course I did. I’ll always come running. All you gotta do is yell for me. I hope I didn’t just steal your heat though, heh.” 

Thaddeus squeezes Kai close and rubs his back to generate heat. 

“How does it feel to be back home? I’m feeling kinda weird, honestly. It’s a lot to take in.” 

      Kai grins and loosely brushes his fingers back through Thaddeus’ hair before kissing his forehead.

   “ It feels nice. I feel a lot better. But I believe you’ll get used to it. Your aura is wavering to adjust to its environment. It’ll settle after a bit of time here, I promise. Especially when you’re around more magical beings too. ”

      He lightly pats Thaddeus’ shoulder to be let down, before taking both of Thaddeus’ hands with a grin.

   “ You don’t have to worry about finding a place to settle either. I have a place of my own here that we can share. It’s not as fancy as an underwater house, but it’s got two floors and a basement and it’s in a nice little community. Lots of phoeni and dragons living together! So you can surely make some new friends too~ ”

“This is an emergency! I’m comin’, cutie!”  Thaddeus barrels into Kai, throwing the scarf around himself as he lifts him up. 

      “ Aww~ You actually came, hee hee. ”

   Kai giggles and wraps his arms instinctively around Thaddeus’ neck, before kissing his forehead. Light head boops are included as well.

      “ Thaddy is so warm... how did you get to be so warm, and I so cold~? ”
