BAAAAACK
I'm so sorry, RL got in the way and I had a hell of a time just keeping up with my independent blogs. But I promise, I'm back for good now. <3 dontmesswiththehatchet is also back. (because that's also me) The others I had are not. Too many muses running around in my head! There's no more me! xDÂ
Revengeance
Optimus and Red Alert were recharging peacefully in the dark silent medbay, a perfect time for a shuttle to act out his revenge.
Silently, Jetfire slid off his berth and made his way to Red Alerts office, deal with him first. Redâs office was just as dark as the med bay, so Jetfire never noticed the kitten recharging peacefully beside his new best friend.
Reaching into his subspace, he produced a large glittery pink bow, with fancy ribbons attached. The plan was simple, glue one of these to Red Alert and Prime, the glue would hold for a few days, more than enough time for pictures. Moving swiftly and silently, Jetfire attached the bow to the top of Red Alerts helm.
Perfect.
That would show him to stab him with a needle.
Now all he had to do was glue one to Optimus. Silently he left the med bay office, not before fixing Red Alerts blanket, he looked cold, the shuttle was beside Primes berth. The shuttle had considered a bow on each ear, but the glue might irritate the freshly fixed metal, so he decided against it. A few moments later, Optimus donned a large pink bow with ribbons on his ear. Job done.
Pleased with himself, Jetfire returned to his berth and went back to recharge, very pleased with himself.
Prime opened his optics lazily when he felt something tugging his helmet lightly. What was that? Rubbing his optic sleepily he noticed the last one of the kittens playing with something pink near his helm⊠He yelped when he tried to sit down and the kitten was now hanging on the pink lace of the bow attached firmly to his helmet. Reaching quickly to it and the kitten he discovered the new ornament adorning adorning his finial - a big pink bow. Confused he stared into the void for a moment trying to put the facts together like how the kitten got here (shouldnât it be resting with his brothers?) and how the frag he had a bow glued to his cat-like finial.
In fact, the answer to the second question was quite obvious.
Red Alert was still firmly in recharge, his new friend curled in a ball on his abdominal plating. A while later he woke up with a start to find the kitten staring him in the face, looking confused. "Hello there." He chuckled.
"Wait... What are you staring at?" He sat up holding the kitten in his arms, who promptly climbed up his arm and sat himself on Red's broad shoulder plate, pawing at his helm.
He reached up to grab the kitten who nipped his fingers in protest as he was brought away from whatever he was playing with. "Ow!"Â
The kitten mewed and apologetically nuzzled his hand, trying to say he was sorry. Red laughed and stroked the youngling's tiny helm gently. "It's alright. It was more of a surprise than anything."Â
He remembered that there was something wrong with his helm and brought his hand up to feel for any damage, but what he found was surprising. A glittery pink bow. The glue was still fresh and because of it, his hand was now stuck to his head.
"Jetfire..." He sighed, shaking his head as he tore his hand away and went to go see what damage had been done to Optimus.

Homecoming
Red Alert placed the kitten back down on the berth and looked over to Optimus. âOf course. That is completely fine by me. Stay as long as you need.â He paused and directed his gaze to the grumpy shuttle. He knew that Jetfire would end up staying in the Med Bay in the end. He just wanted to offer anyway seeing as how he was just angry and didnât seem to want to be in the same room with him for long.
âJetfire, I know youâre not going to speak to me right now. You donât have to. I just need you to listen.â He sighed. âIâm not going to force you to stay, but it really is better if you do. Youâre drugged and tired. I know youâre angry and you probably wonât speak to me for a while after this, but I want you to know Iâm not going to give you any more needles. Iâve already been experimenting with a way to make vaccines and medication drinkable. Iâve almost got it perfected, but I couldnât use it on you yet or tell you because itâs still experimental, meaning it could hurt you. More testing needs to be done first, but I promise, youâll be the first to know when itâs finished.â
He knew the shuttle still wasnât going to speak at all, and he didnât need him to. But if the SIC would listen to his words and at least be calmed a little by the knowledge, it would take a lot of the angst off the medicâs spark.Â
Red Alert then scanned both Optimus and Jetfire one last time, making sure to be as careful as possible and stay at a safe distance from the shuttle. âYou are both recovering well, and should be fully recovered within a day or so.âÂ
He then returned to work on scanning the kittens.
âThank you again, Red Alert.â
He glanced the medic before offlining his optics. The medicine started working quickly and he felt a nice ease. Stinging sensation from his injuries disappeared. He could at last relax for the first time since days, Primus knows how long they were stuck in that hostile universe.
âAnd you JetfireâŠâ He sighed. âJust try to rest, friend. Maybe youâll feel better after a good recharge.â
Jetfire continued to ignore the other two mechs in the room, jerks. He would get his revenge soon, as of right now, he was exhausted. Laying on side, with his back to Red Alert and Optimus Prime, the shuttle soon found himself offline.
Red Alert and Optimus, were safe from the shuttles and his plans for now at least.
Red Alert sighed. He was suddenly quite tired himself. He inputted the results of the latest scan of the kittens in his console and covered the sleepy bodies back up with the blanket. The little red one that seemed to like him whimpered when he turned to leave.Â
Red turned back around and smiled at the kitten. "All right," He whispered as he piched up the youngling. "We'll have none of that. You come with me and stay quiet please. We don't want the others to wake up."
The kitten mewed in response and snuggled into his arms. Red Alert couldn't contain a small chuckle as he walked over to his office. He closed the door behind him and set the kitten on his desk while he pulled out the cot he slept on.
The kitten was a curious little thing. He mewed again and went to go explore Red's desk, knocking things onto the ground and messing up organized piles of datapads. He managed to open a drawer and fell right in with a startled mew, closing the drawer on himself.
Red Alert finished setting up the cot and noticed his desk was a mess. He picked everything up and put it into a drawer in his filing cabinet. He then searched for the kitten. He heard frightened meowing coming from the drawer and opened it, laughing a little at the sight.
The kitten was in there, optics wide and watery. He practically leaped out of the drawer and latched onto Red's arm, shivering. He then gave a big yawn and closed his optics.
"You are a strange little thing, aren't you." Red Alert smiled and laid down on the cot, the youngling plopping himself down on his abdominal plating and falling asleep.
Shortly after he settled down, Red fell asleep as well, thinking of what he should call his new friend.

This... Was a little weird... Another Jetfire? He knew the signal because it was so familiar, but... This one was... Different somehow... He knew since he'd been to other dimensions that there must be more than his own, but it was still puzzling. He wondered why this Jetfire was so similar to the one he knew, even though he wasn't...Â
"U-uh... Hello? You're... Jetfire, but not the one I know... You're not dangerous or going to hurt me right? I've met bots from other dimensions before and some are quite nasty..."
Kinky Questions, make my muse uncomfortable--go!
Homecoming
Red Alert smiled sadly in understanding. He recognized the name Overcast as well. He noticed a small head poke out from under the cover of the blanket. It seemed this kitten had woken. He replied as he watched the little red and white helm twitch around in curiosity. âThat is understandable. That universe is no place for younglings.âÂ
The medic walked over to the pile of kittens, crouching down to look less threatening. The red and white kitten crawled out and plopped himself down in front of Red. It gave a quizzical mew and looked up at him.Â
Red Alert couldnât help smiling. This kitten seemed to like him. He scooped the little youngling into his arms and smiled, then turning to face Optimus. âI can take care of this one if you like. He seems to like me enough.â
He then looked over at the sleepy shuttle. âJetfire, you are cleared to go to your quarters for rest if you wish. Overcast is okay to go too, just as soon as I give him a final scan.â He could tell Jetfire wanted to stay with the kitten.
Prime nodded slowly. The medicine was starting to work and he felt a little dizzy.
âIf itâs fine with you.â Optimus didnât even doubt for a moment about it. Red Alert was a great mech and surely he could take the responsibility of handling a youngling. That leaves only one kitten looking for a good home. âI guess he do Red.â
He smiled lightly under his mask and looked at the shuttle again as the medic mentioned his name. With a puzzled look he turned to Red again.
âIf you will allow, Iâd like to stay in the med-bay for a while. I donât really have a place of my own around here yet.â
Jetfire was angry with him so there was no point in bothering him any further. Not to mention that he had to go to the Autobot HQ as soon as possible to announce his return. He could only imagine the chaos that this little news will cause. To be honest he was scared of everyoneâs reaction. Shivers went down his circuits, so he lied down on his berth to try not to think about it for now.
Jetfire growled as he rose from the berth, luckily he didnât live to far away but maybe leaving in this state wasnât the greatest idea, The shuttle was dizzy, tired and irritated, not the best combination. The shuttle had a choice, stay here or go to his apartment. Either way he would be stuck with Optimus, at the same time it wouldnât be fair to spilt up the kittens.
Grumbling, the shuttle sat back down on the berth, âIâm staying here. But I am leaving first thing in the morning.â He certainly wasnât talking to Optimus or Red Alert either.Â
Red Alert placed the kitten back down on the berth and looked over to Optimus. "Of course. That is completely fine by me. Stay as long as you need." He paused and directed his gaze to the grumpy shuttle. He knew that Jetfire would end up staying in the Med Bay in the end. Homecoming
Red Alertâs gaze was fixated on the ground for a moment as he thought. He was having trouble forgiving himself. âI⊠I know, Optimus. I still feel itâs my fault.â He looked over at the kittens; seeing them all curled up sleeping together made him happy. He gave a half-sparked laugh at Optimusâ attempt at a joke. âEh, yeah, no. Having one of my allies get mad at me for only trying to help is enough.âÂ
The blue and white medic slightly hesitantly gave the shot to his leader once he was done patching the wound. âUm⊠If you donât mind me asking, do these⊠Kittens⊠Have names?â Red Alert was not only curious, but he figured that all younglings deserved names, regardless of the circumstances of their creation.
âHm?â He looked over the kittens. They were sleeping soundly curled up one against each other. âI⊠No. We didnât have much time to think about it and we couldnât leave them in that universe as well.â
âI think one of them is called Overcast, he got quite attached to Jetfire.â He smiled sadly. He knew from where the name came from. âI guess we should find the other two a home.â
The shuttle had fallen into recharge sitting up, only to jerk awake as he nearly fell off the berth. Focusing his attention on the wall, Jetfire considered laying down and resting, he would feel better for it.
Then again, he was still angry with Red Alert and Optimus, he didnât want to be in the same room as them right now. Glancing to the kittens, Jetfire watched as Overcast slept, he didnât want to leave the kitten either. Â Â
Red Alert smiled sadly in understanding. He recognized the name Overcast as well. He noticed a small head poke out from under the cover of the blanket. It seemed this kitten had woken. Homecoming
Red Alert was still very guilty. He hated hurting Jetfire and he wished there was a tablet or drink he could give him. He accidentally touched the wrong spot and hurt Optimus while his guilt distracted him. âMy apologies, Optimus. I did not intend to hurt you.âÂ
He continued working to seal the wound, carefully cutting the metal that was already welded and melted a little and re-sealing the wound. âJetfireâŠâ He said as he worked. âI truly hope you do not think I take joy in hurting you with the needle. Because I really donât. I donât like to hurt anyone, in case you havenât noticed.â He finished pretty quickly.
âI promise, as soon as you and Prime are released, Iâll start looking for an alternative to the serum I use in the syringe.â He paused. âSpeaking of, Optimus, you wonât fight me when I have to give you this needle will you?â He didnât think the Prime would protest, but he didnât think heâd be able to take having two allies angry with him in one day.
âPlease, donât blame yourself for this.â Optimus smiled lightly under his mask. âIt was just an accident, right Jetfire?â
He wasnât expecting any answer from the shuttle as he was way too angry at them and Prime could only imagine that heâll get the silent treatment too, at some point. Or Jetfire will plot a childish revenge on him and the medic. He just hoped that his evil scheme would not contain any cold water.
âOf course not.â He shook his head and stretched his arm, ready to receive the shot. It was just a standard procedure. âUnless you want me to, that is.â He tried to humour Red Alert a bit but perhaps it wasnât his best joke.
Jetfire would make it up to Red Alert and Optimus later. After he got revenge. Right now, the shuttle was too busy glaring at the wall. The kittens were fast asleep in the basket, Jetfire had no intention of waking them up with shouting.
After a few minutes, his previous exhaustion had returned. Soon he would find it very difficult to stay online.
Red Alert's gaze was fixated on the ground for a moment as he thought. He was having trouble forgiving himself. "I... I know, Optimus. I still feel it's my fault." He looked over at the kittens; seeing them all curled up sleeping together made him happy. He gave a half-sparked laugh at Optimus' attempt at a joke. "Eh, yeah, no. Having one of my allies get mad at me for only trying to help is enough."Â

Red Alert was not only curious, but he figured that all younglings deserved names, regardless of the circumstances of their creation.
I ship you with ______!
Bonus points for why.
Homecoming
Red Alert guiltily looked at his friend. He honestly felt terrible. He wished there was a psychologist among their ranks who he could refer Jetfire to. It always worked this way, he would have to give Jetfire a needle, there would be a fight of sorts, Red Alert would just jab the needle quickly into Jetfireâs arm and let him go, and he would get the silent treatment for at least a week after, if not a month.
âJetfire, Iâm sorry. It had to be done though.â It hurt having his friend angry at him again, but now it was time to take care of Optimus. He was concerned for his leader after seeing him get hurt again.
âOptimus, let me take care of that.â He gestured to his leaderâs new wound.
âYes⊠of course.â
With a slight wince under his mask Optimus shifted slowly so the medic had a better access to his injury. It wasnât anything serious, just one of his wounds needed some more additional welding. He let out a quiet, muffled hiss again when Red Alert touched one of the more sensitive spots.
âDonât worry. Iâm fine.â He quickly reassured his friend and looked sadly at Jetfireâs back. He was probably angry at both of them. Well, sometimes sacrifices had to be made. Big or small. Optimus looked back at Red Alert who was working as delicately as he could. âIt just hurts a little. Itâs nothing fatal.â
Jetfire continued to ignore them both, yes he was acting childish, but they knew he hated needles. They knew he was terrified of them. Why Red Alert couldnât just give him a tablet or something, the shuttle would never know. Probably enjoyed his suffering.
Glaring at the wall, the shuttle huffed as his aching systems were soothed by the painkillers. It still wasnât worth it, he was getting to the pain.
How dare they use a needle on the Second in Command of the Autobots.
Red Alert was still very guilty. He hated hurting Jetfire and he wished there was a tablet or drink he could give him. He accidentally touched the wrong spot and hurt Optimus while his guilt distracted him. "My apologies, Optimus. I did not intend to hurt you."Â

He didn't think the Prime would protest, but he didn't think he'd be able to take having two allies angry with him in one day.
Homecoming
Red Alert came up behind Jetfire, feeling very guilty for what he was about to do, all things considering. He was just about to inject Jetfire and hesitated. If he was startled and moved, heâd injure him. Heâd have to do this in a very precise way. First, he grabbed Jetfireâs arm, holding it firmly  in his hand. âNow, donât move or I might hurt you by accident.â
Despite Jetfireâs struggling, Red Alert managed to just get the syringe into him without much trouble. âNow, no moving while the medication goes into your system. Thisâll just take a few more seconds⊠Done.â He took the syringe out and let go of Jetfire completely, jumping back in case he invoked the shuttleâs wrath.
âNow, was that so hard?â
Optimus backed immediately as well once Red Alert was done. He curled up a bit from pain leaning against his berth. Not like this pain was strong it was just unpleasant. He glanced Jetfire who was starting to relax, sign that the medicine was working and he let out a sigh of relief.
âIt wasnât that bad now was it, Jetfire?â
He smiled lightly under his mask while Red Alert appeared next to him.
A high pitched girly scream described what came out of the shuttles mouth as, Red Alert assaulted him. That slagging hurt! A lot! The shuttle narrowed his optics at the two mechs before him and snarled, before slowly making his way to one the berths in the back of the med bay.
The further away from those two, the better. Probably try and use another needle on him, well they would have to get to him first. Huffing as he sat down on the berth, the shuttle grumbling as he plotted revenge.Â
Red Alert guiltily looked at his friend. He honestly felt terrible. He wished there was a psychologist among their ranks who he could refer Jetfire to. It always worked this way, he would have to give Jetfire a needle, there would be a fight of sorts, Red Alert would just jab the needle quickly into Jetfire's arm and let him go, and he would get the silent treatment for at least a week after, if not a month.

"Optimus, let me take care of that." He gestured to his leader's new wound.
Homecoming
Red Alert knew Jetfire wasnât bluffing when he said heâd throw him in the brig, probably literally throw him too. He didnât want to go to the brig, but Jetfire needed his medication. Red Alert knew his patient had to come first. If he went to the brig, so be it. At least heâs have the satisfaction of knowing he had done his job.
âJetfire, I know youâre scared. And I know youâre not bluffing about sending me to the brig. But I have to give you this needle. If you let me give it to you Iâll freeze the area so you donât feel it.â Red Alert sighed and looked down. âIâll even go willingly to the brig after.â
The blue mech was starting to have problem holding his SIC in place.
âNoone is going to brig! Jetfire just⊠listen. To. Red. Alert.â
With emphasis at the last few words he glared his friend who just couldnât stay still. He would deeply appreciate if the medic would just get on with it since the warnings and attempts of reasoning were rather futile in this case. Optimus was about to say something to try dragging Jetfireâs attention again when he accidentally hit him in one of those few places his plating was cut before and he out a loud hiss.
The shuttle wasnât listening to reason, all he wanted to do escape. Struggling, he froze when he heard, Optimus hiss in pain. Looking up at his friend concerned, Jetfire was worried he hurt his already injured friend.
âOptimus..â
If Red Alert, was going to strike, now would be the best time.
Red Alert came up behind Jetfire, feeling very guilty for what he was about to do, all things considering. He was just about to inject Jetfire and hesitated. If he was startled and moved, he'd injure him. He'd have to do this in a very precise way. First, he grabbed Jetfire's arm, holding it firmly  in his hand. Homecoming
âJetfire, please. Letâs not be ridiculous here. Itâs just a little prick and then itâs done.â Red Alert kept the needle away from the flailing shuttle. If he attempted to inject it into him now, itâd probably rip his armor open which would only cause more trauma. âIf you want, I can use medication to freeze the area so it doesnât hurtâŠâ
âJetfire.â Prime said sharply, trying to keep the shuttle in place. âCalm down.â
He knew how⊠unpredictable his friend could be when it came to needles. Holding him firmly he hoped neither of them will end up injured (more than they already were) during this incident. He glanced Red Alert giving him a slight nod, a signal to just go for it while they still had Jetfire in one place. They can worry about the damage later.
âJust⊠stay still for a one nanoklik!â
âNo! Let me go! I mean it! Let me go! Donât touch me with that thing!â
The shuttle was still tired from the ordeal. Normally he could shake off Optimus, or throw him off if needed, same for Red Alert, but right now that wasnât going to happen. Shaking his helm as Red Alert, came closing, the shuttles already high pitch voice went higher.
âIâll throw you in the brig, Red Alert!â
Red Alert knew Jetfire wasn't bluffing when he said he'd throw him in the brig, probably literally throw him too. He didn't want to go to the brig, but Jetfire needed his medication. Oh⊠Hello
Who the frag are you?
Well, it would make more sense if I asked you that, considering I noticed you tracking my signal... But I'll introduce myself anyway. I am Red Alert, Autobot medic.
