Our two favs colliding!!
If u haven't sung Golden while imagining our girls have you really lived?
Call this the Whoopsie AU (it's barely an AU)
I mean. Narinder never explicitly SAID the Lamb would stay dead... :3c He probably should have been more specific. >:3c
Part Two:
Well. The Lamb tried, but...sorry, Nari, the crown hates you now. Shouldn't have been so quick to lend it out, I guess. :D
Aaaand Part Three:
'Isn't he just adorable?' -The Lamb, probably, while their followers smile and nod and internally scream at the brand new hellcat they now have to share living space with...
Anyway, nothing says 'Dead To Me' like following a person around to loudly remind them of how dead they are to you. Right? Right. Narinder's got this all figured out. <:]
i love being a multi-shipper because yes, everybody fucked everybody and they all lived happily ever after
The Hounds of Eris Vanserra
aka the VanPack
for @erisweekofficial day 2: hounds
I tried to do all the puppies justice, I hope they look how you imagined them! The bestest boys and girls an Autumn Heir could wish for!
Aah, look at them all! They're so cute! I must say I very much enjoy the inclusion of the big red dog :') how cute.
I submitted Lytta, and her name comes from a minor Greek deity, as is Eris. Eris being the goddess and personification of Strife and Discord. Lyssa, or Lytta (as I chose to go with) is the Greek goddess of rage, fury, and rabies... which I thought was funny.
As for why I asked to have her based on a basset hound. Well, they are scent hounds. And that felt fitting. Close to the ground with the second strongest sense of smell of dog kind. The bloodhound wins that title.
And, of course, my own biases...
Behold! The beast herself!
people who use the 👀 emoji in work chats to mean something to the effect of 'i saw your reply' freak me out PLEASE use the thumbs up emoji like a goddamn professional, 👀 is for the other group chat i've got open where someone just linked a fic examining the religious implications of fingering your frenemy's stab wound
i think L explains things with gummy bears.
So um... this invitation open? 👀

So I decided to make a dice tray. I don't really know much about them, and this decision was made on a whim when I stacked some wooden mushrooms on top of a wooden slab I had laying around. It looked cute, and I was enamoured. It did not help that I recently acquired a set of mushroom dice, which I love dearly.
Obviously, I didn't have enough mushrooms, so I went to a store further away that didn't have mushrooms, and then had to order them online, which was quite sad, as it meant I had to wait longer for mushrooms.
But here we are! With a very inconvenient 38 mushroom diameter, meaning I have 4 pointy mushrooms in a row later on.
Gutted.
Anyway. I set up my shrooms by sticky-tacking them down to some cardboard scraps and set up my little work station on the floor at the coffee table.
Using watered down white acrylic, I painted two coats over each mushroom to form a relatively uniform base for my next steps.
I'm very new to the idea of ttrpgs, but even if I never get to use this as a dice tray, it will be a nice project to keep me busy for a while. :)
Tomorrow, I will start by painting my six test mushrooms to see if I like what I have planned.
Painting day one!
So I already had some ideas of what i wanted to do. Namely, I knew I wanted to incorporate some mushrooms from games I like.
So we begin with a Palian shroom, the brightshroom. Naturally, I don't have the resources nor magical ability to create a bioluminescent mushroom, so I did what I could based on a brightshroom instead.
My first attempt was a test mushroom, and I tried a few different things to see how I liked the look of the blue.
But ultimately I settled on a slightly softer look, by blotting out the lighter blue patches.
I made five little brightshrooms, and I love that each mushroom I paint is unique. They have flaws and different things that I like or hate, but that makes them perfect. It makes them mine.
For the second set of mushrooms, I liked the idea of doing the penny bun mushroom from divinity. Only to learn that there is a real mushroom called a pennybun and it is quite adorable.
Also Divinity does have a Boletus mushroom, which is what the pennybun actually is. So I guess it still counts.
For this one, I tested a couple of colours around the edge to see what I liked, but I ultimately decided to leave it white when I painted them.
I made four of these, in spite of the picture of three. And so far, they are absolutely my favourite. I just adore them so much. So simple, but so cute.
Painting day 2!
So we begin today with the knowledge that it wouldn't be a mushroom dice tray without the king of mushrooms and toadstools.
That's right! It is fly agaric time!
My test mushroom was a bit dark for my liking, honestly, so I used a brighter red when it came to making the actual mushrooms.
They are unfairly adorable. I love the. So much.
Moving on to a fun little resident of Faerûn, we go to Baldur's Gate 3 and their rogue's morsel.
I wasn't quite sure how I wanted to go about this, but I ended up settling on a base coat of cream and then using a very watered down brown to create the mottled look of this mushroom with a piece of kitchen towel to blot off the excess.
Painting day 3, because I forgot.
So I began by following my dear partner's request for indigo milk caps.
The poor test mushroom for these guys has seen so damn much. She is suffering. She had to deal with colour testing, splatter testing, everything.
She saw some shit, OK?
But in the end, the mushrooms are super cute.
And then... more Palia.
Staircase mushrooms. I kind of loved these, even though I didn't make too many of them.
And I just couldn't help myself. I was inspired.
I love the shmoles, but I didn't want any living creatures on my board.
So I just copied the colour schemes. And I'm very pleased with them. I think they are quite cute.
