Sansan illustration for my fanfic
I love them so much 😞
save him if you can, and gentle the rage inside him.

@maroucia suggested I draw SanSan and it made me realize how much I missed them. Thank you!
I re-read some scenes and decided to do Serpentine Steps
I am still having fun with the ACEO card, and I decided to make something dedicated to my SanSan followers (I promised I had something in store for you, hope to have more time and do other things soon!)!:DAND IT WAS A HELL OF FUN REALLY!!!XD
The two little ACEO are on sale on my etsy shop HERE, and you’re welcomed to click and give a look if you’re interested! *hugs*

Sansan Future A/U: The Pledge - A mysterious stranger receives an unexpected welcome when he comes to pledge fealty to the Lord of Winterfell and King in the North, Brandon Stark.
The lovely, generous and gifted ruebella-b and I collaborated on this graphic ficlet as a gift to the sansan fandom. I’ve been with you gorgeous ladies and gents for three years. So here’s a big thank you to all the artists, meta writers, crafters, fic writers, betas, readers and commenters who make this a fun, smart, sassy, delightfully naughty and entertaining experience for us all - you rock!:D
requested by kashicanhaz!
I love the look on his face. :) This reminds me a lot of Coelaquid’s “this is not my little bird” grumpy Sandor sketch.

if sandor is in a redemption arc, would it make sense for him to get with sansa in the end? 😭 maybe i'm stupid but i feel like it would all go to waste because he clearly feels shame about being attracted to her... ?
Remember the main thesis of asoiaf? "The human heart in conflict with itself"? Well, it means that characters aren't portrayed as all good or all evil, even when they occupy categories of hero and villain within the narrative. It also means that in cases of redemption arcs, formerly evil characters won't just become clean slates and vehicles of purity, there will always be a conflict within them, they'll always carry the baggage of their former selves and they'll always need to grapple with the negative parts of themselves that led them to do that bad thing in the first place.
That said, I don't think Sandor is ashamed of his "attraction" to Sansa because I don't think he has rationalized his feelings for her in that way. Sure, he's very affected by her, he cares about her well-being, and he is aware of her good looks, but despite the few drunken inappropriate comments about her, he never really had to examine the nature of his feelings for her because regardless of what they are, he likely never really considered the possibility of them together in any way given the circumstances of the roles they both had to occupy. His shame regarding his conduct with her actually stems from his failure to protect her more than anything else, shame over the fact that he served the people who abused her and that at one point he himself might have added to her mysery by threatening her in their last moment together.
If they ever meet again, Sansa will be a different person. Maturer in every way, more at ease with herself since she is no longer a hostage, with a tinge of darkness about her as well because she's been playing a dark game to survive for a long time now. Sandor will be different too, we are yet to see the extent of his change but he definitely won't carry the same rage as before, which may please Sansa given that's what she prayed for in the past. If they meet again, we'll witness their interactions in a brand-new way. Let's just see if they'll make something of it.
Some fans of some shows think that other fans look at shows with shipping goggles and make everything about the ship and that it's annoying. And they're right, some people do that.
However, we have a larger, more insidious opposite problem where MANY fans of a show will watch it with a projected bias that seeks to kill all romantic undertones (or even overtones) before they can begin to grow within the plot, and this behavior is by far more destructive than whatever shippers are doing that is annoying to you.
Where the shippers in any given show tend to hyperfixate on canon and dissect every last detail (healthy fan behavior), the romance-phobic demographic does something infinitely more harmful; they ignore the show. They don't dissect. They don't look into things more deeply. They are actively hostile at every sniff of every seed and therefore go out of their way to avoid thinking deeper and considering the possibilities.
They do this because they don't think love matters or is important. They're wrong. Love is the most important thing. It is the only thing that matters. It is the meaning of life. It's why we're here; to love each other.
To be clear, this is not about ship wars (it can be applicable sometimes). That's a different animal. This is about folks who would rather see the badass anti-hero unhappy and alone because the notion of falling in love is exceedingly uncomfortable to them, to the point that they deliberately defy the text, the actor's interpretation, and what is being shown on screen to avoid the discomfort.
