Laughing with friends, enjoying work and feeling accomplished until you finally sit down and realize what you’ve been presenting to Your friends and coworkers is a lie. A carefully designed mask. All you want to do is drop your head and sleep the day away. 15 minutes of convincing yourself to keep the mask on even though it’s suffocating. Nothing to be said about it. You’ve been to therapy, taken the pills, received the help but it remains. One day it’ll consume me.

Me: okay can I take Tylenol on this new pain medication in case I get a headache or migraine?

Doctor: I highly doubt you’ll get a migraine or headache while taking this medication but sure.

Me: *gets headache and migraine and still has regular pain on medication.* great, thanks!
