hello and congratulations on graduating!! that’s a huge accomplishment and you should be very proud of yourself! i just wanted to let you know that your fic Pas De Deux is truly the best piece of fiction i’ve EVER read, and it honestly changed my life, not even exaggerating lol. i found a completely new love for ballet and the nutcracker, so much so that i saw the nutcracker live, and also my friends roll their eyes due to how often i bring up this fic hehe :P even just listening to the song Pas De Deux makes my heart drop BECAUSE of this fic (also because it’s a wonderful and emotionally driven song, but i’m sure u already know this ;D)! it’s now a tradition of mine to read this fic around christmas time, and i couldn’t be more grateful to you for writing this masterpiece. your writing skill is unbelievable, and you have such a lovely way with words. i hope you are doing well, and your teaching job is treating you nicely! i truly appreciate all the hard work you’ve provided for your readers! thank you so much!!

thank you for the congratulations. i feel like i dragged myself through my undergrad lmao. being in grad school is scary but onward we go. i’m a TA and i work at a boba shop in my new city now. who knows, maybe ill pick up the pen again and finish the sequel in my oh so abundant off time. who knows

this is very, very kind, and i really do appreciate it. i spent a long ass time on that work, but i find myself looking on it negatively at times. such kind words really help me associate it with something positive. it’s nice to know people still read it and enjoy it

First off, congrats on graduating!!! Second, your works are AMAZING, not only pas de deux but l’amore di dio especially, it is my favorite fanfic ever!! With that being said, i remember the day the now deleted chapter of pas de trois was posted, i waited for the next night to read it, but it was deleted. Im sorry to ask, but what were the contents of that chapter? If you do not feel confortable disclosing that is no problem and i completely understand

hey guys! it’s been a while, huh?

sorry i lowkey disappeared. i was crazy busy with student teaching and kinda lost my love for writing. however, i had the epiphany that i actually don’t give a shit if people don’t like my work, because i have a bachelors degree lmao.

speaking of, i graduated! now it’s off to graduate school in the fall.

i might pick up the pen again, but i’m not sure when. i’m still very tired and still struggling with maintaining my health and moving, but im more likely to write now then i was in the spring.

i’m okay! i was doing pretty bad (author is bipolar1 and the stress of student teaching/my lupus flaring up +steroids sent me spiraling pretty severely) so i need a bit of a break to regulate. i also got some really, really nasty comments on the chapter i posted that really sucked, but that’s not why i took it down. i know not everyone will like my work, but it’s still not cool to leave a giant paragraph insulting me, yknow? like, i know it’s just fanfiction, but i spend a lot of time on it, so somebody telling me im the worst writer ever and this is the worst fanfic ever and im a fucking loser, i suck, etc. is not cool to hear in any circumstance, much less one where i’ve spent an insane amount of time working on something. so yeah, i just need a bit.

i also have, like, a full time, unpaid job to do to graduate, so im a little preoccupied. i don’t have time for my yaoi discourse, im busy teaching kids how to play bassoon lmao. i think a lot of people on this forum seem to forget that i do this for fun AND for free, so they’re easy to be cruel because they expect perfection when this is literally my hobby. i do this in my free time (which i do not have right now) and right now id rather spend the time i DO have sleeping/with my fiancée/working on other relaxing hobbies that don’t take so much out of me.

tldr-i’m okay. being bipolar sucks. don’t leave hate comments. i have a job.
