Pale eyes slid from the page of the book he was reading to the brunette who had just plopped down next to him on the sofa to launch into her spiel, making him realize he wouldn't be getting anymore reading done until she was gone.

Time to appease the eternal teenager who likely wouldn’t give up until she got her way anyway.

Setting the leatherbound tome aside, Bill sighed but nevertheless stood, removed his wallet from his back pocket and produced three one hundred dollar bills which he then held out to her, eyebrows raising.

"I am afraid to ask what the money shall be used to purchase, however, you have done marvelously well over the last several days and I do believe you deserve a treat."

Now the bills were extended toward Amelia to take.

Bill looked at the stranger warily, not sure he felt entirely comfortable. “I am hesitant to agree, but I will go ahead and acquiesce to your request. Please, ask away,” he replied in earnest, silken voice polite despite the uncertainty he felt in allowing the question to be asked, suspecting it might be untoward.

A nearly inaudible scoff made it past Bill’s lips in a soft huff, icy gaze narrowing in annoyance following an eye roll which was aimed at the blonde. “Aren’t you gettin’ a little old for playground games, Pam?” his silken voice asked dryly, deadpanning at the other vampire.
