Cold.
Cold was nothing new for him. Everything had been cold for centuries. Cold steel. Cold heart. Cold bodies. So cold. Everything was always cold but the dancing abyss of vibrant color was new. Pulses of sound and a mechanical whir of,,,, what was that? It couldn't have been him, it was too loud. He was cold inside. How did something get inside? Where?
"Hnnnmmnnggg,,," the blonde man groaned past the tube pumping air in and out of his aching lungs. His fingers started to twitch, then his toes as his fresh nerves began to fire.
This wasn't right. Only his back was cold. Where was the warmth from? Why could he feel? A thin sheet draped over his waist was his only covering. He could never feel it before. What?
Enoch's blue eyes rolled in their sockets are the man continued to groan and struggle against the straps binding his wrists and ankles.
Revenant. Revenant. E̸̽̆ň̶̑o̴͂͂c̴̅͗h̵́̀. Re- E̶̛͗n̷̆̂ö̵͗c̴̑͝h̴̓̀. E̵n̸o̵c̷h̸. Enoch.
His eyes finally focused on bright florescent lights above his head, the dizzying expanse fading away to the edges of his vision before disappearing entirely.
Enoch.
His eyes slipped shut again.
When they opened, he was free, laying where he had been before but with no ventilator or restraints. Revenant gasped as he sat up, panting. Why was he panting? He didn't have lungs, right? How was he crying with no tearducts? There was no hud on the corners of his vision.
And there was his legs. Pale human legs attached to a pale human torso and human arms hoisting him up. Enoch let out a scream as he fell in fright from the medical table. The cloth slipped and left him exposed so he quickly covered himself as he frantically looked around the room, scrambling to his unfamiliar feet.
And then he saw his face reflected in the oneway glass. his face. Not Revenant. Enoch.
"W-what,,??" He stammered hoarsely, backing himself into a wall and then a corner. "WHAT??" He shreiked
