a bright smile spread across rey’s lips as ben looked at her with those dark puppy like eyes. she tilted her head to the side as she mimicked his way of resting her face against the palms of his hand. hazel eyes met his as she hummed softly. “every single day.” she confessed feeling her cheek heat up a little as a rosy tint coloured them.

as mobius gently ran his fingers through loki’s raven black hair he smiled softly at the sleeping god. seemed like he needed the rest. so when loki sleepily looked up awaken from his nap, mobius pulled his hand back and sat down a cup of fresh coffee in front of him.
“seems like you needed the rest. sorry to wake you up.” he smiled and sat down opposite of loki. “i brought you coffee.” he gestured to the cup.

it wasn't often that the great liesmith found himself short of words, that famed silver tongue always poised with a snarky comment or witty retort. this, however, seemed to be one of those rare moments when the god seemed taken aback.
it felt unnatural, and almost made loki more suspicious... no one had ever said those words to him, whether they agreed or not, and it was so strange to hear them now... it scratched at the edges of loki's brain in a way that felt too much like pity. the god's emerald gaze flickered over the agent's face, catching his gaze as he tried to discern whether this was a trick or a genuine attempt at consolation.
"... I know." was his reply, after a long moment. calm, defiant and defensive.

as the doors opened behind her and her future husband stepped through, rey tuned around facing him. she offered a soft smile and nodded. “hello,” she said with a soft voice, “it’s nice to meet you too.” she walked over to him stretching out her hand for him to take. her hazel eyes looked up at the man who seemed to tower over her.
Ben shook her hand as she offered it to him. "Should we go somewhere more comfortable and get to know each other?" He asked. Yes it was arranged, but that didn't mean they couldn't get to know each other before hand.
rey offered him a soft smile as she withdrew her hand. “yes that would be lovely.” she chuckled nervously. he was handsome. even more than she had imagined. and he had a point. even if this was arranged they should get to know each other. after all they would spend the rest of their lives together.
