I love the people going "hmm no." in the notes with absolutely no intelligent discussion. Why do you dislike the fact that hating the people more than the things they did is worse? Where does it end with the people? Just the perpetrators, or does it extend to their friends and family? Because that's exactly what Coin wanted with her ""new"" Games - she wanted the children of the Capitol to be thrown into them because of their parents.

The entire point of the books was that ending the cycle of violence isn't pretty. It's frankly extremely difficult, you'll forever be criticized and mocked for "weaknesses", and it may even just be unfulfilling. But ultimately some sacrifices, like your sense of wanting retribution, have to be made to move on. An ouroboros of punishment will never free you.

What happened between the first and second half of OBX season 4? Especially with JJ and Kiara???? They literally went from romance to “I DON’T KNOW YOU” in the span of an episode????

She thinks he jumped in the ocean and drowned and has zero reaction? No hug when he miraculously appears? A handshake before he goes off to do something dangerous? Zero reaction from her when he found out who his bio dad was? All their scenes just being them ignoring each other or arguing?

I was genuinely a huge proponent for them in part 1 of season 4 when people argued the chemistry died. I thought they had some really romantic scenes that felt like it was them growing, JJ learning how to be in love, etc. part 2??? I can’t defend that.

OBJECTIVELY, the shift is pretty wild.
