RULES

Somnivore related posts only: This blog is for vents related to the somnivore species, mentioning others is allowed but somnivores should be the focus.

Only anon asks will be posted: DW if you forget to toggle it! I will post non-anon if specifically requested.

Both positive and negative asks are allowed: This blog is for all things somnivore so positivity is just as welcome as anything else. If you want solely positive asks check out @somni-sanctions blog(not affiliated)!

Serious allegations require proof: Accusations with no proof will not be posted. If a situation is serious treat it as such.

General non-cs related discourse will be deleted: This is not the place for debates on pro/anti, pricing of non-somnivore art, and any bigotry is just getting binned.

Asks targeting random users will not be posted: Related to the no proof rule but lets not dog on randos, I'm sick of hearing about that damn unicorn. Asks that are nothing but insults targeted at a select few people will be deleted.

I am not accountable for asks posted here: This is a blog for people to vent their frustrations and discuss in a less restrictive, and anonymous space, not my personal soapbox. I am remaining entirely neutral on anything posted here.

If the majority wants a topic dropped its dropped: This is to avoid drowning out other topics with one people don't care to hear about anymore.

They've said kinks that are against ToS. They allow kinks they don't like as long as you message them about it for moderation reasons and you post it censored (like watersports)

I think the only problem is that the group was shared on a vent blog, most cs are against vent blogs due to its negativity and could potentially get you banned or in a watchlist

I want to join the nsfw group, I'm a very vanilla person and I still like to share my nsfw artwork, but I don't think it's worth the risk haha

Somnivores doesn't ban for that from what i've seen, anyway just join on an alt. -🌘

that they dislike, because all heavy nsfw - gore, genitals, explicit sex, piss - is banned under somnivore tos, but all of that and more is allowed in the server

if they were following somnivore tos, the server wouldn't even exist lmao

I think its kinda important to mention that the unofficial nsfw somnivore server will report you to the official somivore mods if they catch you with nsfw they don't like, so I wouldn't consider it safe

For the nonnies who want to know, Incest/Guro/Noncon/Beast or Feral/Lolisho are not allowed in the NSFW server. I assume to comply mostly with Somnivores general rules since NSFW is still allowed off platform, as it's not totally private. ( Some of these are prohibited by discord themselves ) If you want a pro server you might have to ask around. That's of course not being made public to avoid scrutiny from people against such.

No one's harassing the winner ( I would hope ) a lot of people are just frustrated that people who don't even want freebies join free raffles for high quality trade fodder. I do agree people can do whatever they want at the end of the day but that idea can coexist with it sucking that people are joining one of the easiest means of obtaining bats when you may not be able to otherwise just for trade fodder. Because it's a GA bat once it enters trades, it loses that accessibility as well. And I'm not saying you can never trade freebies , it just looks bad when you trade them right away. It makes more than enough sense why people would be upset about it.

At the same time that's just how it goes. There's no real clean solution to it because we'd have to assume everyone doing it has bad intentions in the first place. Not one that wouldn't make people angry at least.

wym "most if not all of you would have traded it"? many players, myself included, enter free raffles only for designs we really want, and would be happy to have them, but our chances get tanked because of shitheads that just want trade fodder

I almost wish they'd make free designs untradable, or make the cooldown a month or a year, because the current raffle and trade cooldowns clearly aren't enough to discourage bad actors

I think people aren't understanding that the rjam bat being recently put up for trade reminded everyone of the first owner and/or some people don't remember who the original owner was and are just seeing a free BAT being put up with no extra art. I don't think anyone's at all mad at the current owner.
