Hi everyone, I’ve gained quite a few followers recently so thought I should probably do another introduction because my last one is buried several years down my blog!

- I’m a hospital pharmacist and I’ve just started to do my postgrad diploma and eventually will be doing a prescribing qualification

I had my last optics lecture yesterday - the last of 2nd year! Today I’m getting on with stars review after an unproductive morning, which is annoying but I’m doing what I can with the afternoon.

weekend backtrack! i started my philosophy course. i had to unfortunately restart it because of issues with the curriculum change, but i don't mind really, cause at least i have the time now to do it properly.

i wrote a lot of notes! i haven't done that in a while cause of the time restriction, but it's good to get to study properly.

i also finished reading the Kant book and moved onto my precious Nietzsche <3

during the weekend i

started a philosophy course

studied theory on the first chapter

finished reading Kant for Beginners

idk, it's all kind of a blur, where does the time go?

spring break ended yesterday so now i'm trying to get back into being productive since i did absolutely nothing for a whole week.

Hello. I’m drowning in reflections to write up but exciting news!!!! I got offered a hospice job last week! I’m now a lead pharmacist for palliative care. What an absolutely exciting amazing moment in my life. Not at all where I thought my career would go but I absolutely cannot wait!

Today I:

Went to school

Got 68% on one Polish test and 75% from another one

Studied chemistry

Went on a walk

Actually took all my meds today

Did a few lessons on Duolingo + 3 three in Spanish because I'm bored

Chilled and now I'm going to sleep

one thing that so many students forget is that, a win is a win. if you planned on doing english homework but instead you finished your history essay, celebrate that, don’t be upset taht you didn’t sick to your plan, at least you got SOMETHING DONE. a win is a fucking win and don’t let anyone tell you different.

the new term is off to a great start! i had a very restful spring break and wrapped it up by attending my first academic conference, which was amazing.

last week i found out i was accepted to one of the research programs i applied for and i can't wait to be back in a lab this summer.

Long time no see but it’s a month until my deadline and four days until my interview and I’m so tired that I’ve had to move to my local coffee shop just to make myself study because I can’t function at home. A very stressful time and you’ll be seeing way more of me this month I bet! Hope everyone is having a lovely spring xx

Cringe, but also look where I am? I started this blog to get me through my A levels with the dream of maybe one day studying pharmacy. Now I’m a pharmacist, about to become a prescriber (which I did not see happening ever when I started this blog)? In a hospital which is somewhere I would not have set foot in 9 years ago? 💙 23.11.2023 // I worked on my paper analysis on the morning then I did some groceries during the afternoon and I started again learning japanese. I'm only learning the basis but it feels great :))
