I've done several pieces of Brightheart over the years, going all the way back into 2010, and it's been a fun way to keep track of my progress as an artist

I do like the amount of colour in the 2021 a bit better with the fall leaves in the background and I'm not sure if zooming out from the characters as much as I did was 100% the right choice (also this mistake recent piece is the first time I've used Clip Studio for rendering instead of SAI) but I am happy with the most recent piece

I'll probably be opening up simplified kitty commissions again in the next couple of weeks so keep an eye out for that - but I keep kinda waffling on wether or not I'm ever gonna open full painting commissions

like they take so long (the file for that most recent Brightheart and Cloudtail painting said my work time was almost 25 hours) and I just do have a hard time working on something I'm not particularly passionate about for such a long time

also I'm not sure how much of my audience would have a budget for the paintings - because if I were to price them similarly to my simplified kitties in terms of dollar per hour of work they could get up to $600 easily
